People mostly find themselves with a connection to certain sounds. Rhythms and melodies have always been mankind's means of feeling different forces. Those forces led and nowadays still lead to unbelievable results and many life-changing experiences.
The newly formed Swiss duo SONUS IN HOMINE (translated: human in sound) puts those sounds and rhythms in the right order and mix and creates breathtaking compositions.

Their first-ever release called AMOR FATI is an atmospheric Melodic Techno track with a rich bass that sets the tone and vibe for the tune. After some time, a crystal clear melody gets introduced that simply creates goosebumps. The whole thing is accompanied by dynamic drums and an atmospheric pad. Soaring into 2022 with his most comprehensive release since his critically acclaimed debut album ‘Ambrosia’ in 2020, Soel makes his debut on Bedrock with four fantastical tracks that promise to sweep your dancefloor off their feet and take them to places they didn’t even know existed. Today, we bring our DJs two exclusive cuts from the EP.

‘Ghasia’ sets the scene with a whole flurry of strong ingredients; a molasses-thick dark disco chug to the bassline, an almost garage-like swing to the beats and an arpeggio from beyond the cosmos. The word epic is overused but this really does fit the description.

Onward we glide into the inspiring tribal groove of ‘Night Of The Chimera’. Once again, the Milanese artist conjures up another faraway narrative from lands that seem just out of reach. It’s all in the synths, sweeping and swooping into the mix while those perfectly rounded and fine-tuned drums keep us rooted to the ground...

Seasoned Swiss producer, KHAINZ, fresh back from rocking the Half Moon festival in Thailand and announcing his forthcoming Tomorrowland solstice, peaks again with a debut release for Joris Voorn's Spectrum.

A brilliant brace is fronted by the title track 'The Drift'... 'When I synthesized the bass of The Drift I knew it could be something great!'
The coarseness of the synth adds a layer of dirt and imposing power, which together with the contrasting pureness of its melody works to create a powerful dancefloor moment.

The techno tandem is complete with 'Elevation,' a track that reaches new heights via its growling, all-conquering bassline. 'The bass definitely makes Elevation unique and it works so well on the dancefloor. Both tracks are extremely punchy, whilst not being too hard.'

Biography
Alessandro Serena aka Wurtz was born in Genoa (Italy) in 1990. His passion for music began very early and the first own experiences behind the decks was at the age of 18 in the local Ligurian Riviera scene, becoming residence of Riviera Gang, the most important organization in Liguria.
He graduated in Milan SAE Institute (Sound Audio Engineering) and then started to produce his own music. He got very early important feedbacks and support of well-known artists such as Richie Hawtin. He spent a year in South America and after, he returned to Europe, more precisely in Ibiza, where he started to work in a reality like Afterlife. During these years, he changed and matured it’s own sound, reaching more melodic vibes, but always keeping his dark side in his productions.
In the last year (2019) he was supported a lot by Tale of us, especially the own edit of Florence The Machine - Jenny of Oldstone (Game of Thrones lyric).
He got also the big support in the last months by a lot of Afterlife’s artist and not, like Kevin de Vries, Agents of Time, Mind Against, Artbat, Fideles, Mathame, Mind Against, Oostil, Lehar, Musumeci, Magit Cacoon, Soel, Erly Tepshi, Olivier Weiter, Cercle’s party and more.
