Whilst playing on the same stage back when still possible, the first spark of collaborative chemistry set fire to the dance floor and has now ignited a collaboration between Hollt & Lake Avalon; the two track EP called ‘Anomia’.

As the first track on the EP, 'Perceive' characterizes itself with a strong continuing tension amongst atmospheric pads and soundscapes. The off-beat bass stabs are the counterforce of the track and triggers the arpeggiator, which immerses the listener.

Without any rules or norms, 'Anomia' adds space and openness throughout the entire length of the track. Feeding from a euphoric chord progression, the track naturally moves from a wider spectrum to a moment of clarity.

Hollt and Lake Avalon deliver an EP that fits all the dance floors that are opening up around the world, bringing moments of relief and a focus on the future; where the two artists shall meet in the booth again.

‘Ghasia’ sets the scene with a whole flurry of strong ingredients; a molasses-thick dark disco chug to the bassline, an almost garage-like swing to the beats and an arpeggio from beyond the cosmos. The word epic is overused but this really does fit the description.

Onward we glide into the inspiring tribal groove of ‘Night Of The Chimera’. Once again, the Milanese artist conjures up another faraway narrative from lands that seem just out of reach. As the summer season slowly closes it's curtains it's once more the Radikon Various Artist time of the year. We thoughtfully picked a thrifty but meteoric mix of talents on their individual height of their creative lifespans. So far. Indian groove wizard 'Ankytrixx' casts the mighty opening spell for 'Sesa' with 'Baby2000'. This magical high voltage ride never lets go of its initial tension built on a fundament of punchy kicks, deep pads and dancing hi-hats, while the hypnotic lead pattern evolves into a noisy ascension of its former self. This compilations also sets the stage for the long awaited Radikon debut of 'Hools', who brings a whole 'Coalition of Darkness' with him. Epic choirs are winging its ways over a fluttering 16th bass grid, while the listener floats in a crossfire of soaring synth shots. NDW-esque spoken words pave the path through 'Kinetische Impulse' by Belgian producer 'Axel Haube', backed by 'ELV/RA' on vocal duty. An allover trippy experience handmade for strobe light thunderstorms in the festival woods. 'Timelapse' and 'Attma' finally escort us out of this world with their paramount masterpiece 'Interstellar'. Alien robotic voices lead us through the rough darkness of space, guided by harsh pointy drums and loose melody curves which leave the track in a constant swing state between both cold and warm spheres.

Biography
Alessandro Serena aka Wurtz was born in Genoa (Italy) in 1990. His passion for music began very early and the first own experiences behind the decks was at the age of 18 in the local Ligurian Riviera scene, becoming residence of Riviera Gang, the most important organization in Liguria.
He graduated in Milan SAE Institute (Sound Audio Engineering) and then started to produce his own music. He got very early important feedbacks and support of well-known artists such as Richie Hawtin. He spent a year in South America and after, he returned to Europe, more precisely in Ibiza, where he started to work in a reality like Afterlife. During these years, he changed and matured it’s own sound, reaching more melodic vibes, but always keeping his dark side in his productions.
In the last year (2019) he was supported a lot by Tale of us, especially the own edit of Florence The Machine - Jenny of Oldstone (Game of Thrones lyric).
He got also the big support in the last months by a lot of Afterlife’s artist and not, like Kevin de Vries, Agents of Time, Mind Against, Artbat, Fideles, Mathame, Mind Against, Oostil, Lehar, Musumeci, Magit Cacoon, Soel, Erly Tepshi, Olivier Weiter, Cercle’s party and more.
