I made this song during summer! I was thinking about my life!
Calm life with some bad surprises sometimes. This year is one of my worst! No money and a lot of work. But I'm grateful to still have a job.
Our world is in bad shape, and we don't know when and if we will recover!

My boring life is nothing compared to all this sadeness I feel in the air.
This is not a super hyper great song but there is part of my heart in it.
I started with a synth bass pattern and added the drums.
All other parts are improvised with virtual instruments. I reworked the drums after all the other parts.

My Boring Life

This song is a soundtrack for frosty winter days. A little bit experimental. The main synth is Korg Volca Keys. Some eDrum percussion, digital synth sounds, a few analog guitar sounds, a triangle and a little wind.

I have always loved this song by Robert Palmer, but I always imagined it at a slower tempo to allow the words to resonate a little more. Rather fun perfecting a perfectionist, I hope Robert doesn't mind, in fact I wish he'd come back and do the vocal.
