Around Us is a newly formed duo from Amsterdam consisting of industry veterans Jan Boom (from Analogue Effect) and G.A.B.Y.

Last November they've celebrated their debut release on Balkan Connection's BC2 label, and with music coming up on Click Records, Cinematique and LuPS Records, 2019 is shaping up to be a nice year for them.

Dimensions is a compilation series focused on bringing together unique artists and select tracks, which resonate with each other beyond just the sound of the music. It is a platform to create forward thinking releases on which artists in the XYZ family, and newcomers with shared values, come together to write their chapter of a collective story.

The second instalment of the Dimensions welcomes a set of diverse characters into the XYZ fold. The trio of groove-laden tracks nudges the listener towards the darker and colder months ahead, yet retains a warm fall aura as well. Progressive arrangements with hearty basslines and melodic flair are key pillars of the release, with both stalwarts of the scene and up-and-comers sharing their prowess for dancefloor-oriented material.

For the b-side we present an XYZ debutant, yet a name innately tied to the label family. Hicky & Kalo are one of the most exciting acts in Montreal’s rich underground scene, displaying their pristine quality behind the decks at the likes of Stereo, Piknic Electronic, and the PY1 Pyramid. Thomas & Camilo also exert excellence in the studio, running one of the most innovative rising labels in the industry - Plasiris Sonores. While releasing music from the likes of titans Hernan Cattaneo, Soul Button, and Darin Epsilon, Hicky & Kalo also dedicate themselves to unearthing special untapped talent from across the globe. The duo has been developing their musical repore since age 14, and seasoned friendship presents a stunning track - Rayo de Luz. A sumptuous fluttering melody fires into a hearty groove. Brimming with dancefloor quality and lighter emotional tones, Rayo de Luz is the perfect track to welcome Hicky & Kalo on the label.

KAMADEV entered the Manual Music family with a blast last year with the release of his well received 'Break Through' track on the 'Explorations' album, swiftly followed by his 'Allegory' single. Now the Miami based rising star is back with an EP packed with more melodic, emotive delight. 'Beloved EP' contains two delicate vocal cuts; the title track and 'Falling Faster', and a more straight forward peak time melodic dance floor pleaser, 'Khada'. All in all another testament of KAMADEV's sheer talent and needless to say we're utterly delighted to have him back on Manual Music once again!
