With their Shutdown Ep, Stephan Zovsky & FiveP prove that cooperation and friendship always lead to the best results. "The Aftermath" builds up an almost dramatically gloomy mood, which is swayed up to a euphoric harmony firework. "Rebirth" is of a completely different kind and transports the listener into the first row of a sunrise that has become sound.

In his version of "Rebirth" Manuel Meyer reconstructs and decelerates what happened and spices it up with a good portion of pressure.

"Late Night Music is proud to present Australian producer Fourthstate's first artist EP on the label for our ninth release - Fargone | Distant Source.

These two progressive gems – and their subsequent remixes - easily demonstrate the unique talent of producer and DJ Alex Braknys, showing a refinement in production across the listening experience!

The melancholic Fargone begins the EP, building slowly with ethereal vocals and spacey synth chords, before reaching a crescendo bursting with emotion - perfect for that peak moment on the dancefloor.

Distant Source continues with a strong dub-techno vibe, with pulsating echoed siren calls and rich ambient textures over a chunky bassline groove.

Melbourne progressive icon Jamie Stevens is on board for a remix of Distant Source, over-laying his signature sound to create a driving, dancefloor focused progressive mix with classical-tinged synth overtones.

Melbourne producer B-tham's experience as a DJ veteran shines through on his remix of Fargone, highlighting the spoken word sample of the original, while adding gravitas to bassline and percussive elements for a fantastic club mix.

Kazuki takes Distant Source to an Australian-outdoor inspired space with a hypnotic earthy groove and breakbeat mix following a wash of ambient sound, while fellow Aussie pro-ducer Tidy switches things up with his tight liquid drum and bass edit, brimming with nervous energy."
