Planned set for my childhood friends’ annual reunion. After a year living in Lisbon, away from my family and friends, I learned to mix on a FLX4 and put together a set for the reunion with my friends, my siblings, and my cousins.

This set brings together the styles of my favorite artists, along with the music I discovered during my time in Lisbon and several classics and mash-ups that are very special to my crew.

I don’t consider myself a professional, but I hope you enjoy it. Love you guys <3

Their rework of Soul Search provides their signature stamp of dark and melodic groove that is impossible to stand still to.

After an exciting summer for Los Suruba, the proud founders of Nazca Records and its fascinating story, it´s time to get back to discovering and sharing new music with the world. Alvaro and Delmar welcome Thimble, a talented lad from Malaga, to enrich this eclectic label furthermore. 

Therefore, Thimble becomes a witness of the Nazcas and Viracochas´ story, a tale that has captured us with its symbology and values. In previous releases, we´ve learned that the Viracochas, beings from another world and the Nazcas, a community of sensible music and art lovers have joined forces to beautify the world. 
Thimble´s ‘Signals’ EP shows us just that; it reveals through sound the complexity of the Nazcas and Viracocha´s ways and purpose to heal through music. 
 
You will embark on a four-track journey that starts with ‘Veritas’ where a metallic bizarreness will trap you, followed by ‘Opposite’ a hub of exhilarating synths and abstract ambiences. 
After this mature mix, Thimble thinks ‘Walking Among Trees’ is a good idea and he is right! 
This third track rich in inconspicuous percussions and unique FXs simulate a walk among the densest vegetation along a crystal-clear creek. Finally, yet importantly, ‘Tribute’ is the vibe changer. 

The sparkle to the entire EP, a mix of shamanic elements and pure house patterns that accolade sound and melody.

The Invocation EP sees Filtergeist, aka Aditya Prabhu, deliver three original tracks while Innvervisions’ INVŌKER, All Day I Dream’s Roi Okev and Silence Path supply remixes. Title track ‘Invocation’ opens the EP in mesmerising style with drifting chimes, washing soundscapes and distant voices sat on top of a bassline which asserts itself throughout. INVOKER’s remix of ‘Invocation' channels the hypnotic aesthetic of the original but takes a less organic approach with tough, filtered synth tones providing counterpoint to the soft melodies and vocals.
 
'Deja Vu’ follows and shows Prabhu’s knack for providing immense detail and otherworldly yet organic sounds while keeping one eye firmly on the groove. Roi Okev, an artist who has also cropped up on Little Helpers, delivers a moody, heavier interpretation which brings the drums and bottom end to the forefront while teasing just the right amount of melodic ebb and flow.
 
‘Wisterian Waves’ closes out the EP with undulating, pacy toms and rich, textural toplines while Silence Path reworks it into a playful, heavily organic piece of trippy funk.
