After a slightly longer break, Niconé & Sascha Braemer are finally back on Stil vor Talent. Their ‚Stay feat. Limon’ EP instantly showcases that the wait has been worth it though. On the title track, the trio creates a fusion of romantic synth leads, sensuous vocals and areal strings. ‘Tell Me’, also featuring Limon, is no less epic, but aims straight for the peak time with the help of driving chords and a healthy dose of bass. Next to the two hot originals, the Spaniard Henry Saiz delivers a remix reminiscent of The Human League. A creaking bass-line, crystalline synths and a distant vox catapult you straight to the 80s. The things that dreams are made of!

This is one of those tracks which gets lost in the abyss of labels and politics for years, before finally resurfacing, on what I'm pleased to say is a great home in Ryan Davis' amazing Klangwelt label. I've updated and remastered the track to bring it up to standard, but it's more or less the same as what you might have heard on some old live sets. This one is called the Porcelain remix, because it's the more fragile of the two versions I made - the other is the Svukt remix, which is a noisy electronica/dubstep influenced affair with a silly wobbly bassline.

Kotelett & Zadak have been spreading their cheeky take on House for some while now, maintaining their outlandish fishing-related back-story over the standard/boring DJ duo biography. Although keen to bring a sense of fun to electronic music, their music is anything but flippant. 

'Never Enough' is the new release on Poker Flat Recordings, showcases the duo’s production chops. Slowly building from an atmospheric start, a thick, tight groove shines through, augmented by beautifully crafted percussive and melodic patterns.
