Madloch's Sound Avenue imprint welcomes Jean Caillou back to the label for a new EP. First emerging in 2016 from Switzerland's avant-garde electronic landscape, Jean Caillou quickly established himself with releases via Magician On Duty, RYNTH and Underyourskin Records, where his thoughtful take on deep house flourished. Moving forward, 2019 saw the Zurich resident make his Sound Avenue debut with a well-received remix of Joe Miller's 'The Days'. Deep and enchanting in equal measure, its organic vibe immediately won over DJs and fans alike, sparking what has been a fruitful relationship between the Belgian imprint and Swiss artist. Now, nearly five years on from his label debut and Jean has recorded three artist EPs and two additional remixes, making him one of Sound Avenue's most steadfast artists. Fully formed within the creative confines of his Zurich studio, Jean's fourth Sound Avenue project 'Northern Lights', follows on from 2023's 'Montouk', a five-track affair bursting with charismatic charm and stirring musicality.

Dimitri Definition Schnider drops another heavy EP on his growing imprint of the same name. Unleashed features 3 originals from the artist, each expressing its own passion in dynamic ways. First Yelo swoops in to start a fire with its low-key approach with a steady heat glowing from between the beats, creating a soulful and deep experience. Miu takes the stage next, trapping our imagination with a frail vocal narration as the beats swell and the bass builds, sending out a beautiful message to the universe and anyone listening. The track tops out as a serious dancefloor contender with plenty of groove to take us to the stars and back and thats a good thing because want to be back for the final track, and itchy tech-house groover titled Red Sky. From beginning the end, a gritty bassline keeps the track in line while everything around it transforms into a world of beauty. Rich, slow moving pads glide over the top of a steamy percussive lines as the track dives deeper into the warm night air.
