Following their highly acclaimed ’Sweet Ease’  / ‘Hybrid Society’, which reached No.1 on Beatport Indie Dance towards the end of 2021 and featured in countless DJ sets, Matthias Meyer and Budakid return to Watergate Records with another powerful collaboration, ’Saye’ / ’System’ released on October 14th.

Opening track 'Saye’ captures the inventive and sparkling production both Berlin-based artists have become renowned for. Hypnotic organ chords are deployed alongside euphoric vocal chops and jagged, driving beats to create a truly memorable track which is already generating a huge reaction on dance-floors when it has been road tested in recent Matthias Meyer and Budakid DJ sets. 

The stirring and atmospheric ’System’ balances ’Saye’ perfectly. Budakid’s haunting vocal is presented alongside glitchy, yet etherial synthesizer sequences with the central theme the idea that we are living in a broken system.

The thirteenth release on the Blue Magenta label sees the return of DAYKON who after his earlier release ‘Amnesia’ delivers another smasher ‘Paradise’. Individually, these are four of the most talented artists in modern melodic dance music. Together, they are nothing short of a supergroup. We are thrilled to announce their debut on TOR with the new collaborative single - Lasting.

Hailing from Quebec City, he has gained international acclaim in recent years as a key figure for Soul Button's Steyoyoke.
