Motip White has been one of the most prolific producers for When We Dip XYZ in the past years and it's a pleasure to offer three fresh takes from ELIF, JAMIIE & Volar on this remix pack. 

From the jump, Volar's remix establishes itself with a bulky low-end which is joined by a straight to the point arp, hitting home by its simplicity. A rolling bass is welcomed in the break, along with the main riff and vocal parts leading into the drop. In the outro, Volar crafts a counter-melody straight from the electro era of the 2000s to top things off.

Cologne’s Motip White is back on When We Dip XYZ with ‘The Infinite Edge’ EP, a two-tracker which showcases Motip’s songwriting prowess coupled with his signature raw, grimy sound.

On the title track, ‘The Infinite Edge’ the twists and turns of the bass progression make way for the celestial melodies and gritty drums. The hopeful harmony and upbeat vocals contrasts with White’s lyrics speaking of losing his mind in an ever-confusing world which keeps on moving faster and faster. 

On ‘Straight To The Sun’, the saturated combo of vocals and guitar lead the way. The raspy bassline and the triplet kicks interact with the hats and shakers invigorating the groove. White’s hummed vocals in the break lighten the mood, pulling hips and ears straight to the Springtime sun.

ELIF speeds things up on her remix with a dynamic groove, bouncy ad-libs and Motip's vocals. The Marginalia label boss then folds the track onto itself at the break mark, with the characteristic chimes from the original being taken over by ravey sound design.

Venice-based rising DJ/producer Marco Rubin has been impressing the industry's finest with his energetic productions, including Loco Dice, Joseph Capriati, and The Martinez Brothers. Despite debuting just last year, he's already made a swift impact on Amine Edge & DANCE’s CUFF and Jamie Jones’ Hot Creations sub-label Hottrax, hinting at a promising future. Now, as he prepares for his second release on Jones’ groove-heavy imprint, Rubin drops three thumping house tracks across his 'Time To Dance’ EP.

“These tracks were born from the idea of capturing the pure energy and adrenaline you feel when you're on the dance floor. I wanted to create tracks that evoke that perfect moment when the music transports you, the rhythm becomes irresistible, and you truly feel it's time to dance. ‘Time To Dance’ kicks off with jacking grooves, crisp beats, and vocals that instruct movement on the dancefloor, while ‘Percussion’ pulses with hot, bouncy beats and fresh, vibrant drums layered over a slick, funk-filled groove. Closing with deep, pulsating tones and electrifying clatters, 'Electro Diva' crafts an irresistible, menacing blend that grips the senses.

This latest EP sees him back on Arms & Legs with 'The Way,' a hypnotic yet punchy house groover. Soulful vocals ride a bass heavy minimal house groove, delivering just the right amounts of euphoria and warm bottom-end. On the Flip, 'Futuristic' is a synth laden disco house instrumental.

"I put all of my energy into what I do." The Italian DJ and producer talks about his undying passion for music, his take on "business techno" and how the scene has changed over the course of his long career.

Naples native Joseph Capriati has received criticism for being the "CEO of business techno." But the longtime artist is a genuine lover of all kinds of electronic music, from the incredibly niche to the more commercial strains he plays in Ibiza, intimate clubs and major festivals.

In this RA Exchange, Capriati talks about how he climbed to success in the electronic world, getting his start at the age of 11 (he's now 37) before being booked on the international circuit with breakout releases on CLR and Adam Beyer's Drumcode.

While Capriati has consistently ranked high in year-end polls and music roundups, no outside plaudits have impacted the choices he's made in his career. He's doggedly followed a lifelong passion for the underground and the community surrounding it. He opens up about the changes he's made in his personal life to facilitate his rise to the top, his struggle with his mental health, his turn towards sobriety and more.
