Hailing from Volgograd in Russia, Modd a.k.a. Stanislav Klimushin has burst onto the scene in 2017 with a flurry of well received releases on tastemaker labels All Day I Dream and Kindisch. Having debuted with ‘Inki’ on our Anjunadeep Explorations series earlier this year, Modd returns with the four track ‘Guron EP’, showcasing his lush brand of emotive deep house.

Title track ‘Guron’ is a subtle blend of spacey atmospherics and warm grooves, whilst ‘Mohican’ and ‘Tryusolee’ weave dramatic melodies with energetic percussion. Modd rounds off his diverse debut EP with sunset gem ‘Swan Meadow’.

'Hicky & Kalo's Montreal-based imprint Plaisirs Sonores Records continues its rapid ascension to the fore of the scene with another lethal new two track EP led by the label bosses themselves.

The original cut from the Canadian pair is titled 'Moving Auras', and it comes strapped with an inimitable remix from Darin Epsilon & Paul Kardos. The original track is a progressive and melodic beauty with a signature groovy rhythm. The remix adds a dreamy atmosphere while slowing down the bpm a bit. A beautiful rework.'
