Making his name initially as half of Interaxxis, Folgar is now venturing into uncharted waters as a solo artist joining the label with the 'Rain Force EP' after an energetic start with releases on DjMag Latin America and Balance Music.  

Opening with 'Rain Force' a twickly arp and sparse percussive framework develop into a bruising mid-set tour de force. Huge e-moment synths work the room with consummate ease as this cinematic track opens up. 'Brown Velvet' launches into its warm groove from the first bar. Gathering pace, exceptional synthwork and an understated bass growl from beyond the speakers. Finally, a vocal track with Sofia Rueda rounds out the pack. Haunting lyrics and melancholy synths project a winsome vibe against the stark broken beat of live instrumentation.

The latest release from Madloch's Sound Avenue imprint finds the label presenting the second installment of it's 'Re:Imagined' series. With the first edition landing in February of last year, these Various Artists EP showcases take a look back over the label's catalog, presenting new interpretations from some of the freshest talent in the underground. Not bound by genre or style, 'Re:Imagined' Vol.1 earned praise for it's contemporary blend of organic, progressive and deep house sounds. Now presenting the second installment in the series, Sound Avenue invites Yarni, Eric Lune, LADS and Jayden Klight to re-interpret tracks from Madloch and Subnode, Mariner + Domingo, Ercos Blanka and B.A.X. respectively.

Anjunadeep warmly welcomes Simon Doty for his standalone label debut with stellar double cut 'Sonoma / Luna’. 

Following releases on Einmusika and Last Night On Earth, Doty first appeared on Anjunadeep Explorations 11 with 2019’s collaboration with Zein ‘Sama’. This time around the Toronto-based producer teams up with Ezequiel Arias on the arpeggio-laden ’Sonoma’, contrasting it’s fluttering instrumentation with the dark addictive bassline found in ‘Luna’.

A fairly new name to the Anjunadeep catalogue, Simon Doty's penchant for driving melodic house foretells a huge 2020 for the Calgary-native.
