The Greek aficionado VieL has firmly established himself amongst the finest of melodic movers. Through opulent offerings on Do Not Sit, Tale & Tone, and Hoomidas, he peruses a distinct blend of lush groove, soaring emotive, and electronic entities. After gracing us with an incredible collaborative project alongside Madraas, the Vires EP, and later a solo piece in the form of It’s You on our Tales of Romance series, we’re thrilled to have him back on TOR during the peak of summer.

Two-stepping into the EP’s closer, old school drums come to the fore on Pathways. Elongated pads placate the energy, before an electro-tinged hook ignites to steal the show. The most club-friendly of VieL’s trio, bountiful basslines and sensational synth-work leaves us grooving into the night.

Born in Maputo, the vibrant heart of Mozambique’s capital, and based in Matola, Jasso(Mz) is a producer whose craft drifts between the spiritual and the earthly. His music transcends genres, weaving Deep, Melodic and Organic House into a fluid language of emotion — one that heals, uplifts, and carries the listener through introspective journeys.

More than sound, Jasso creates atmospheres. Each track unfolds as a ritual of release — where pain melts into melody, and the body surrenders to rhythm. His purpose is both simple and profound: to translate emotion into frequency, and to turn the dancefloor into a sanctuary for the soul.

His connection to electronic music runs deep. Raised in a family of true devotees of the genre, Jasso was guided from an early age by two uncles who opened the doors to the vast world of beats, synths, and stories told through sound. In 2011, he founded a blog dedicated to electronic music — a space to share discoveries and nurture his growing artistic vision. A year later, he began taking his first steps into production, shaping a sonic identity rooted in feeling and evolution.

Today, Jasso continues his journey with devotion and purpose. His music stands as a reflection of movement and emotion — crafted to heal, to inspire, and to guide listeners through both inner and outer voyages.
