Forerunners return to Sudbeat with his first full EP - Fear is the Mind Killer. 

Bursting onto the scene some 8 years ago, Arizona-based Brenden LaBonte (or Forerunners to his fans) has quickly progressed up the ladder with music signed to an impressive list of high profile labels including Perfecto, Pure Progressive, Anjunadeep and more. His signature slow build style is perfect for us, and we are excited to present these immersive and emotional tracks. 

Opening with a carnival of beats is 'Fear is the Mind Killer'. Melodic layers ebb and fade over the opening bars adding tension. Bass and spiky sonics in the midsection indicate a definite energy rise with the main break becoming an oasis from the chaos that powers from the drop in the final third. 'Distant Signal' with its Bladerunner-esque dystopian keys is a darker, more insistent partner. Elegant pads and choppy arps add interest to this heads-down stomper for just before dawn ushers in reality.

Venturing a bit deeper on the flip side, Full Moon entices us into a daze with swirling melodies in the early stages. The lull is short lived, however, as a vivacious bassline seizes attention at the first drop. The break slowly thins, before the sumptuous kick greets us again, offering pristine moments ignited in dance.

Niceshot's Ritual Of Love, released at the beginning of this year on the Seasons | Winter 2020 EP was one of the biggest releases on MNL this year. More than reason enough to welcome the talented Argentinian producer back on board and reward him with a solo release this time.

'Here' is his brand new single and continues the same path as 'Ritual Of Love'; a warm and sexy production combined with a lovely sensual dreamy vocal, this time provided by Mhyst. Truly lovely and perfect to set the mood for this summer / beach season.

On the flipside we welcome the infamous Paul Deep on board. This man doesn't need any introduction as he previously released on Sudbeat, The Soundgarden, Plattenbank and Beat Boutique to name a few. He strips down 'Ritual Of Love' to its core elements and added a proper dosage of percussion and shakers in the (re)mix. Smooth!
