We are pleased to have Nsha on Selectors this week. The French producer has just put out ‘Under Water’ in collaboration with vocalist Shamira on When We Dip Records and is set to release its follow-up, ‘Two Faced’ on AZZUR December 13th. He plays these tracks, on top of tunes from the likes of Yet More and Fka Mash, his own remix of ‘Cheap Thrills’ & ‘Bruma’ by Tchailyn, which has been released a month ago on the label.

But that's enough of a sneak peak into the tale that inspired the latest work from Yoram, a stunning 3 piece affair of new releases... all of which are awash with the easily articulated names of the vibrant city of Amsterdam, enter Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal – figured the pronunciation yet? Well, while you're confused, let's press play on this one, Crossfrontier Audio is proud to release another great EP from the man that has already given us the smash that is  Nocturne earlier this year. 

Yet rather than placing it near to some downtime in Zuiderzeeweg, each of these new tracks are transcendng into something bigger than a place... Escaping the puns, Yoram has gone and captured the energy of the city, and melded it to 3 individual moments of deep and driving house, for any occasion. Care to switch on the red light?

An epic sunrise and then a mesmerizing beautiful morning. No sand storms this time. Absolutely quiet and peaceful Playa. Feelings of of happiness, the fulfillment of the moment, and childish enlightenment were taking us over, and even of something more, something that is hard to describe, because it is rather similar to magic, that is flowing in the air over that giant heart on the top of bus.

We'd like to spread our love and gratefulness to every one who was still with us at midday, while the sun was in its zenith. We literally got burnt under its rays. It must have been the hottest day of that week. But could it stop us? No way. That 3,5 hours were like one moment.

Our congratulations and thanks to the Robot Heart team. You've been producing love for 10 years and granting happiness in Black Rock City. We could feel it from outside, and now we are honored to be part of it. We really appreciate it.

Also travelling abroad, the London resident has spent time in both Australia and New Zealand, playing Sydney's iconic superclub HOME, as well as Wellington's 'Sandwiches'. Cian turned Elevate into a wonderful deep melodic journey. A mesmerizing arpeggio and smartly placed percussions lead the way towards the first break where he introduces the heavenly vocals and the growling bassline. With all these elements he manages to create a wonderful symbiose that result in this amazing remix. A job very well done by Cian Moynagh!

We first had the pleasure of hearing London-based Mattr a few months back when we premiered 'Cygnus' from his last EP, Antigenic Drift. And we've been excited for a while about this brand new beauty from his latest EP, Salix, entitled Spiel. Laced with delicate twinkling synth flutters, sultry broken beats, and a deep rumbling sub bass paired with a gorgeous melancholic lead, this is a tune that pulls you in closer and closer with every note. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Mattr aka Matthew Clugston is a leftfield house, breaks, and techno producer as well as a superbly talented motion graphics artist from Birmingham, now living in London. With residencies dating back to his hometown at Code with Steve Lawler as well as supporting gigs for Sasha & Danny Tenaglia, Mattr would share decks with the likes of Tale of Us & Jamie Jones before hosting his own events with fellow innovator Alex Banks as well as Maxxi Soundsystem, and XXXY, to name a few. It was from there that he made the move to Berlin to study music production & performance and where he'd form a friendship with label partner, Max Winstanley (Lewyn Stan)who he paired up with to launch their Helical Scan imprint.

After years honing his sound, Matthew went on to release his first album along with several other productions on Faceless Recordings, TrippyCode, Ozono, and CRR, garnering support from Amé, Guy Gerber, Anja Schneider, Nick Warren, Rodriguez Jr, & the legendary Laurent Garnier.

25 years after first cutting his teeth DJing tech house & breaks, Mattr's broad musical palette often draws him closer to the more emotive side of electronic music, finding deep resonance with forward-thinking artists like Max Cooper, Jon Hopkins, Tourist, Overmono, Fourtet, Phon.O and Radioactive Man, whom you'll hear plenty of in his consistent & beautifully diverse mix series.

We are now treated to this exquisite 4-track EP 'Salix', on his newly formed Loft & Sound imprint, with the focus being on IDM, electronica, leftfield house, techno and leftfield breaks.

Die Leere füllt sich mit Klang. Das Vakuum wird von wellenartigen Impulsen durchbrochen. Dieser Form der manifestierten Liebe sind keine Grenzen gesetzt. Mal zeigt sie sich sanft wie ein gehauchter Kuss auf die Wange. Dann wieder brachial und ungestüm wie ein gereizter Nashorn-Bulle der zum Angriff ansetzt. In ihrer Wirkung unberechenbar, wird sie doch berechnend eingesetzt. Sie kann aufwühlend wirken, ein anderes Mal beruhigend. Ein tagtäglicher Begleiter und das ein Leben lang. So oft unbewusst wahr- & aufgenommen, noch viel öfter willentlich konsumiert. Aufgesaugt und absorbiert, dank ihr, allzeit motiviert. 

Überhaupt & Außerdem serviert uns einen angenehm treibenden Groove für die graue und kalte Jahreszeit. Die fesselnden Tracks lassen uns den Alltag vergessen und ermöglichen den Rückzug in innere Welten. Stampfend und klackend, singend und lachend verzaubern die Melodien das Gemüt und lassen der Phantasie freien Lauf.
