Hailing from Quebec City, Monarke has gained international acclaim in recent years as a key figure for Soul Button's Steyoyoke. His 2021 debut on XYZ - Edge of Reality - struck a chord with global groovers.  He recently returned for his sophomore release on the imprint : Footprints.  We are pleased to welcome Monarke for his Selectors Series debut.

Release thirty-two on Manjumasi presents a variety of reinterpretations of last year’s vinyl release Instant Transmission, from label founder atish together with Vridian.

A broad selection of remixers showcases the variety of sounds and styles that find a home in atish’s sets and in the Manjumasi label catalog. First up, Map.ache offers a groove-driven smooth and floaty remix of Touch & Go, well balanced with intricate details.

Next up, Mihai Popoviciu & Markus Homm do what they do best, putting some dance floor heat on Instant Transmission with a super-sturdy bassline groove and dubby textures floating over the mix.

Fast-rising Japanese producer boys be kko turns in two melodic mixes,with the Sanya Mix featuring a ripping unique synth lead, and the Yanagi Edit focusing on the deeper side of the groove and textures. iO Mulen takes things in a unique direction with a breakbeat-infused remix that mixes throwback elements with edgy modern sound design.

Finally, Indian producer Kohra wraps up the package with a late night interpretation, dark and dub-infused with molten metallic textures.

Plaisirs Sonores Records announce the release of 'Gems, pt. 1', their first-ever VA featuring three talented artists from different parts of the world: Maezbi and Paul (AR), both from Argentina, and Savvas from Greece. The release showcases the unique sounds and styles of each artist, making it a must-listen for fans of electronic music.

Maezbi's track "Wonderland" is a beautiful, easy-listening progressive tune that draws listeners in with its lush synths and soothing melodies, complemented by a beautiful spoken male vocal. Paul (AR)'s "Breathing" features cute bells and an awesome melody, creating a perfect blend of dreamy and uplifting vibes. 'Almost half a year after the album release and two months after its vinyl release, it’s time for a remix collection of the ‘Echoes’ album by Pelace. The purpose behind the remixes was to connect electronica with the modern-day melodic techno. It became a great selection of which Fat Cosmoe, Precursor, Hollt, Aalson and Convolute return to the label. Besides, Kimman and Ikaro Grati are making their debut.

Aalson's interpretation of ‘Pushing You Away’ represents the emotional part of the collection. After Starting off very timid, the track unfolds itself into a sophisticated play of intriguing and floating elements, which are giving more and more during the track.'

We are pleased to have Nsha on Selectors this week. The French producer has just put out ‘Under Water’ in collaboration with vocalist Shamira on When We Dip Records and is set to release its follow-up, ‘Two Faced’ on AZZUR December 13th. He plays these tracks, on top of tunes from the likes of Yet More and Fka Mash, his own remix of ‘Cheap Thrills’ & ‘Bruma’ by Tchailyn, which has been released a month ago on the label.

When We Dip Records welcomes a pillar of the Greek clubbing scene for episode 141, The Gosha. With an upcoming release on Renaissance, a collaboration with Paul Brenning & the amazing ‘Illuminado Apagado’, which begins the mix, he’s set to take his sound, which blends afro rhythm & experimental synths, to the world stage.
