XYZ and When We Dip present the Selectors series, where we give our family of producers an opportunity to display their prowess behind the decks. Expect unreleased material from across the label collective, as well as classic gems and heady grooves from some of the undergrounds finest heads.

Berlin based producer, Elias Dore, is an artist of many flavors.  Through the years Elias has performed in various bands and played many genres- including Afro-funk in Dakar, Gispy in London, Reggae, Soul in Berlin, and many more.  Elias recently released 'Heridas' on XYZ featuring stellar vocalist Stella Moya.  We are more than happy to welcome Elias Dore for his Selectors Series debut.

Once upon a time in the deep dark dungeon of Drumsville, where the lakes, forests, mists and snow surround the Kola Peninsula, laying its feet close to the Arctic Circle. The structure of this unexplored place can make this corner of the world seem like a scene from a fairy tale. Yet, the natural beauty stand the ruins of an abandoned scientific research station that once had its mission to build the sound of tomorrow. This station was the elevator from the deep dark depths to reach to the light - to achieve order and peace through the deepest sounds of Earth.

According to some, this is the entrance to hell. Others say, entrance back to civilisation. 

This is the escape from Kola Superdeep Borehole, the deepest manmade hole on Earth and deepest artificial point on Earth. The 40,230ft-deep (12.2km) construction is so deep that locals swear you can hear the screams of souls tortured in hell and if you listen closely you can hear the whisper of angels.
