XYZ and When We Dip present the Selectors series, where we give our family of producers an opportunity to display their prowess behind the decks. Expect unreleased material from across the label collective, as well as classic gems and heady grooves from some of the underground's finest selectors.

Our guest this week is the creative-architect behind Canadian label and party series You Plus One. Having signed music on Get Physical, Mobilee and Bedrock and having hosted some of the most exciting artists in the game for his parties, it's a pleasure to have him on-board. In this mix, he plays a bunch of unreleased tracks, from Sam Shure, Tiago De Renor and himself, as well as giving a preview of Presia and Motip White's EP coming soon on When We Dip XYZ.

Conceived from the idea to unite and promote our Northwest electronic music scene, You Plus One emerged originally as a successful attempt to keep the house and techno scene alive locally in Vancouver, Canada. Since 2011, it has carved a name for itself by throwing legendary events for music lovers, jump-starting many careers in the industry, lending + creating the sound and image for different venues, supporting and mentoring local artists, and building connections with the greater international community. It has now evolved into a music label that has already garnished support from top industry professionals even in its infancy. YPO's goal is to guide talent, expose new people to the beautiful, artistic, and underground world of house and techno, and ultimately help represent Canada within the global underground scene
