This one's been a long time coming and boy are we hyped to see it finally come to life. Melbourne's very own son Rudolf C steps up with his highly anticipated debut EP. 

From the jagged electro tinged 'Seattle City Light', through the drifting hazy levels of 'Blacked' and 'Pisces' to the kicked back paradise of 'Untitled Monday', Rudolf serves up a masterclass in blissed out backyard house. Undulating Juno soundscapes and warbling 303s merge seamlessly with roughed up rhythms punched through the MPC. 

This one's for the heads on the dusty trail, the midnight drive, and the pacific swells. Those in the back seat with the window down and the feet up...

DJ WHIPR SNIPR - Can You Understand Me [No She Doesn't]

Sometimes good music can actually be for free, like in the case with our one-off's. Next up as a contributor is Dublin-based DJ M4A4 who graces us with a lo-fi number called "Sciences", made together with Philip Box.

M4A4 has only been producing for about a year but you can tell right away from listening to his previous tracks that we're looking at pure producing talent here. This is confirmed yet again with "Sciences" where lush pads, raw percussions and one of the illest basslines we heard for a while combines to create an irresistable under water-lo-fi groover. @hokkaido-dance-club: A label not a disco on a north Japanese island, is helmed by Jordan Saxton (aka @Viers & @leekonitz) and Joe Sagar  - two pals from Leeds with a dirty habit of unearthing a gem. HDC have been somewhat quiet of late. Their most recent release being early 2017 from label honcho Viers; a sumptuous offering which left HDC fans all Oliver Twist - begging for more of that tasty metaphorical audio gruel. If you don't have a bowl yet - get one.

When we first heard this - it's safe to say we were a little surprised (pleasantly of course). Part of HDC's legacy has been their contributions towards the dance floor - four/four lead post 12am heaters. Medrea's (https://soundcloud.com/medreadj) 'Untitled' and this features Premiere kicks the record off as it means to go on - maintaining Hokkaido's gritty aesthetic with about as much saturation as the fat content in the porkiest of pies, yet veering (no pun intended) away from the hallmark stonk. Broken beats combining and interacting with etheral strokes and mechanistic hues throughout make for an immersive and entrancing listening experience. In more simple terms - imagine PS1's Duke Nukem gliding his pixely fingers across a Roland D-50 as part of a dystopian future-soul band. Still not with us? Just listen - s'good.

Clocking in at 5:40 mins, Close and Slow is a nocturnal treat and features warm, deep pads and pleasant synth plucks stitched together by a swollen bassline and a delicious Lo-Fi groove.

Undreamed is the name of the new EP produced by Austria-born DJ and producer Fabian. This multi-talented musician was using a lot of analog synths and drum machines to create this release. His take on the progressive type of music is inspired heavily by some vintage, mellow sounds, where tapes were the peak of technology.
 
The first track called «Undreamed» is floating, very dreamy and warm, it also reminds of acid house vibes, but sounds even softer. Abstract vocal and straight-forward percussions add a very special housy flavor; massive pads are intertwined with cyclic 303 arpeggios.
