Release Info: As Sleazy Deep returns to the disco with some serious sleaze, this time we have the HOT production talents of Chris Madem and his smokin’ Be Dancin’ EP. Be Dancing was first featured on Ibiza Sleaze Vol.2 and now gets its full release with another House bomb original from Chris and a killer nu disco remix from Jean Bacarreza & Afrobeat. Be Dancing kicks us off with it’s bubbling arps and nu disco beats & bass, epic Saturday night fever strikes with this one and that Bee Gee’s vocal sample lifts the track into huge glitter ball sexy proportion. Slammin’ hits follow the driving groove creating hedonistic tensions bringing the disco inferno to the floor. Look Inside follows and this time Chris takes us on a diva fuelled house journey with HUGE vocals. Bumpin’ house beats, bass, strings, chords and lickin’ guitars, all you’d expect in a tasty classic sounding house jam, this is a BIG track! Last up we’ve got disco wonder kid Jean Bacarreza teaming up with Afrobeat for their remix of Be Dancing. Taking the tempo down, pitching the vocals and adding some big Piano keys almost tricking you into where this is going! Nasty bass with hot resonating cutoffs follow the drop and the disco vibe and keys pursue taking us all on a modern Nu Disco roller coaster. Another typically Sleazy release with a Housey surprise in Look Inside and as always, This is Essential!!!

Chris Madem - Be Dancing (Original Mix)

It's hard to believe that it will be exactly two years ago since we launched our beloved label. It really has flown by in the blink of an eye. And so, to mark the occasion of 24 successful months in business, we bring you release number 24. You could call it OCD behaviour but we like to think of it as symmetry ;-)

Step forward Mr Jaap Ligthart, a Dutchman who has been on our radar for some time now with a number of fantastic edits and reworkings but is now making the natural transition into original productions. Together with Ms. Alice Rose, a vocalist who's pass credits include guesting on tracks for the likes of Gabriel Ananda and Eagles & Butterflies, they've created something rather special. 

‘I Know Change’ is a sensuous piece of work. Deep House in the very real sense of the phrase. 
And that is something that our remixers on this project have truly understood. Both Him Self Her and Show-B have delivered exquisite interpretations that give the whole package an overriding sense of class and quality. 

Him Self Her keep things deep and moody with a restrained, atmospheric, sophisticated piece of work, whilst Show-B heads into slightly tougher territory encapsulated by some distinctive rollercoaster percussion effects that have already seen Ame, Dixon, Sasha, Mano Le Tough & Adratique showing their support. And if all that wasn’t enough, they both deliver vocal free dubs too! 

So then, just to recap, it’s hotter than Megan Fox in Agent Provocateur and cooler than a Polar Bear’s toenails. What’s not to like?

Members of Moscow-based trio Tantsui are professional musicians with a unique musical vision.

Tantsui's sound is charming, interesting, melodic, but still groovy and dancefloor-friendly. The trio has performed at the best Moscow clubs (Gipsy, Krysha Mira, etc.), released on What’s In The Box Records in 2013, remixed Martin Eyerer, Guru Groove Foundation and The Maneken ,and have collaborated with Russian labels NOPASSPORT and Highway Records.

Now, Tantsui provides the first release from Nick Warren's new The Soundgarden label, which sees the Soundgarden brand further growing and evolving from it's well established club nights, bi-monthly radio show and compilation series, in to a forward thinking label at the forefront of cutting edge electronic music.

Today, we exclusively premiere Tantsui's 'Around the River' off their forthcoming EP of the same name.

Russian-born, classically-trained producer KatrinKa makes her return to home label Chapter 24 Records with a  top notch collaboration with British producer, DJ, vocalist & multi-instrumentalist Thomas Gandey. The pair provide two tracks on the release in the form of 'The Nameless One' and 'How Does It Feel' . Joining them on the release on Chapter 24 artists Sezer Uysal and Stas Drive as well as label newcomer Tim Engelhardt. Engelhardt (known for releases on the likes of Poker Flat and Cityfox) lays a splendid rework of 'How Does It Feel' and, what's more, you can catch it in full premiere exclusively on When We Dip.

October 21st sees When We Dip & Chapter 24 Records taking over at Bar Feijoa in Amsterdam for a highly anticipated debut ADE showcase. Together we will be hosting an impressive ensemble of CH24 label artists and friends including the likes of Miss Melera, Malbetrieb, Miyagi, Patlac, Sam Pauli, Kora, Naveen G, Stonehouse & more. The party takes place from 5pm until 2am in the centrally-located venue. What’s more, entry is completely free.
