DJ, Producer, Lyricist and Chart-Breaker, Bassam Jalid, is the young creator and developer of the new "Mexican Neo-Trance" wave that is infesting the scene.

Bässam Jalid is synonymous of euphoria, aggressiveness and mysticism, which ensures a harmonious balance between the acidity, the dynamism and the mellifluous sound of trance melodies, throughout each one of its tracks and sessions.

Through his career he has managed to position himself in some of the best and most recognized clubs and raves along some states of Mexico and USA, which has allowed him to share stage with great exponents of electronic music, among which stand out: Paul Van Dyk, Neelix, Berg, VibeTribe, Durs, Interactive Noise, Satori, UnstableMx, Dreamvibes!, Lixx, Raindrop, Goblin-X, Lum1na, Zaa, Guztavo MX, among others.

I started producing music in 2004, shortly after graduating high school. I've dug my fingers in to many styles, but Trance has seemed to be my stronger point, I'm currently unsigned and am looking in to opportunities to change that as I would love to start seeing some revenue so to speak from my current hobby.  Originally I called myself Dj Tyrius, but was questioned upon if I Dj or not, and clearly I don't I produce, not Dj, so decidedly I changed my name to Tek, bounced around to Tek Demon for a while, then came back to Tek, seemed more simple.
