Un air du blanc large qui tourne les pages, esquisse les plages, frôle les rivages, remue les méninges sauvages. Dans les parages, l’ailleurs est partout, juste ici au paradis, juste là en face de soi, juste au loin, au bout de tout, c’est si fou, vraiment si flou. Voile en étoile, vogue au vent en pagaille, un caftan vitrail caresse la promesse du bonzage poitrail, unique brise gouvernail. C’est l’art de la chute en plein sommeil, du détachement lancinant, du présent sans futur, tel quel, le rêve infini cela suffit. L’abandon au temps que l’on garde pour soi, celui qui ne se révèle qu’à basse voix, comme un secret sucré à cajoler. Butiner l’invisible en équipage, devenir l’invincible en plein naufrage, Maison Canopia explore le tourbillon ondoyant de l’instant pour capturer l’essence du monde avec le cœur safran, une véritable mission évasion, un adage mirage à mi-chemin entre l’enfant rebelle et l’âme sage. L’amour en or, un gage à tout âge, avant qu’il ne s’évapore dans le murmure de l’érème bohème. 
Des premières nébulosités évadées d’une matinée nimbée de tons orangés aux soirées agitées par les flashs splashs de la canopée étoilée, le déjeuner sur le pouce de mi-journée pour trait-d’unisson sacré. Secousse fugace, être soi, avoir toi, se laisser planer, encenser à l’excès. Un reflet gracile de son récif vérité, celui au beau milieu duquel tout peut disparaître, sur lequel l’on est le seul naufragé. Déambuler loin des foules à la poursuite du mouvement de houle, du marginal impérial, tout semble évident en apparence, les souvenirs de l’ouragan qui danse en cadence, l’odeur des pins en substance, les senteurs du maquis en résonance, l’ivresse de l’été sur sa palette de trésors nuancés. 
Sans effort, l’éclat donne le la aux sourires iroquois, encore une fois, frivoles silhouettes et tempêtes gambettes effleurent l’eau qui vacille au premier regard tactile des filles, dans le mille qui brille les belles naïades se rhabillent en vrille. Le soleil vagabond ferme ses rayons doucereux, il oscille dans un ultime battement de ses cieux bleus. Vêtir l’avenir de sublimes feuilles de palmiers enrubannés, faire chavirer la mémoire des rescapés, s’aventurer sur le littoral épiphyte, s’élancer dans la fuite mirifique, la suite même l'imagination complice de l’échappée n’y est encore jamais allée.

Some times the music just magically comes out, and that is the case here with "Syria" by new Sol*Selectas artist Unders from Amsterdam. After several successful tunes above the 120 BPM mark on labels like Sincopat and Groove On, "Syria" was Unders' first attempt at slower grooves, and an accidental experiment that just "fell into place, and was automatic magic". Syria's current political unrest is all over the news and social media, and the story being painted is difficult to watch. Driven to create a song which goes against all the negative publicity, Unders says "between all the negativity, the more i looked into the situation, the country, its people and its culture, the more this track reminded me of so much beauty the media doesn’t portray." The song itself a slow minimal trip with chopped up guitar licks, a gorgeous flute sample that takes the listener to far off desert lands, and features the vocals of Veerle.  Satori is yet another up and coming producer from the Netherlands, gaining instant recognition sharing the stage and studio with Acid Pauli, and producing incredible tunes utilizing live instruments played by himself, and tastefully incorporating these with electronic elements. His remix preserves the original message of "Syria" lowering the BPM to an even more hypnotic 104 BPMs. Satori adds middle eastern strings and chords, swapping out the original vocal for a more Saharan inspired call, and even plays delicately with some acid sounds furthering the listeners journey.  
Both songs are meant to invoke peaceful images of Syria, and conjure up positive intention on the dance floor. Sol*Selectas is very excited to present the debut song "Syria" from Unders, and the amazing remix by Satori,  two artists from the Netherlands you would do well to keep your eyes and ears open to in 2016.
