National Geordie treasure Richy Ahmed is undoubtedly an original brother and integral cog in the Hot Creations machine and since his emergence alongside the crew and subsequent blowing up of the scene, Richy has become one of the most sought after and hard­working DJs on the circuit. Now honing his production skills to a fine point, it’s no surprise he’s been showcasing on the label, with last years ‘The Drums’ smashing through on all fronts. Richy is now bestowed with the honour of helming the pinnacle 50th release for the ever ubiquitous label. ‘The Bells’ part 1 & 2 ­ already championed by Skream on BBC Radio 1 ­ is a bass driven banger centered around the hypnotic percussive groove.

Launched in 2010 and co­owned by Jamie Jones and Lee Foss, Hot Creations is the
ground­breaking independent dance imprint that’s gained global notoriety in recent years through pioneering a new and unique sound born of it’s founders deep affinity with old disco records and soulful funk. 2013 saw the duo take their label to even greater planes upon the major label release of their band Hot Natured’s truly unique debut album and the label continues to nurture and champion a host of incredible homegrown and
overseas talent such as Digitaria, Greg Pidcock, Miguel Campbell, Robert James, wAFF and of course Richy Ahmed. 

In summer 2012, the crew launched the weekly Paradise events in Ibiza DC10, now in its third year and one of the current highlights on the island.

Richy has always played an integral part in the label, ranging from A&R to residencies at the global Hot Natured and Paradise events. Having since made an impact at some of the world’s best clubs and festivals including, Sonar, Tomorrowland, Glastonbury, Bestival, Panorama bar and London institution fabric, Richy has continually proved himself as an unequivocal party starter.

Armed with an individual sound that fuses the energy of house and disco with infectious funk­inspired grooves and a touch of dark, Richy’s distinct style has always been championed by heavyweights in the game such as Jamie Jones, Damian Lazarus, Clive Henry and Seth Troxler. 2013’s ‘The Drums’ was Pete Tong’s Essential New Tune and gained widespread support among all the Radio 1 taste makers including Annie Mac, Danny Howard,and Rob Da Bank. As well as a host of massive remixes for the likes of Katy B on Columbia, Phil Kieran on Hot Flush, Michael Janson on Resonance Records, Richy also had a major coup curating the Rinse: 23 compilation to wide critical acclaim, cementing Richy’s status in the nu school elite.

Following 2012's Paradise Summer Sampler, this 14-track release will showcase a breadth of new and established talent affiliated with the imprint, from the likes of Gel Abril, Patrick Topping and Russ Yallop to newcomers such as Jamy Wing, Beep Dee and Pete Dorling. Label boss Jamie Jones has also contributed, pitching in with cosmic dance floor cut "People From The Moon." The unmixed compilation will be available on CD, digitally and on two 12-inch samplers.

Always at the top of their game, Hot Creations this time call upon Toronto’s Nathan Barato for the next release on the label. The unique and fresh sounding ‘Everytime I See You’ is a real groover with a low slung bassline creating deep swing and flow with the vocals from Room 303 taking it to the next level. Brazilian Volkoder is first to remix, picking up the pace for the dance floor he adds a new killer bassline, stripping down the vocal but holding onto the groove. Last up Drumcode favourite Nicole Moudaber brings her techno touch to the release with her remix making this a wholly satisfying package indeed.

A Toronto favourite, Nathan Barato has been a staple of the city’s underground scene for over 15 years. He began as a young pup, rolling with legends like Peter & Tyrone, playing at clubs such as Industry, Mad Bar and System Soundbar. His talent eventually progressed him into residencies at The Guvernment, Stereo Nightclub, and Footwork, as well as his own night, “Weird Science” at the long-standing and legendary Comfort Zone. His releases can be found on the likes of Rekids, Cajual, Moda Black, Saved Records and his own Roots & Wings.

Producer since the age of 16 years old, Volkoder has produced music for major labels such as Kittball, Material, Snatch! Records, Street King among many others. His music has been championed by Jamie Jones and Lee Foss and they are happy to have him onboard the label.

Nigerian-born Lebanese star Nicole Moudaber is a force to be reckoned with who climbed the ranks with the likes of Carl Cox as a mentor. Last year she released her debut album on Adam Beyer’s Drumcode which was Number 1 for a month on the Beatport techno, tech house and deep house lists. Touring all over the world last year she played for the likes of Marco Carola’s Music On and played the final set at Space closing party.

Hot Creations Galactic Radio Transmission 009 - Mixed by Patrick Topping

The Hot Creations powerforce show no sign of slowing down as they get set to release ‘Acid Jump’ from New Yorkers Eskuche & Nu Sky. Destroying dancefloors all summer at the hands of Jamie Jones, the title track is a high-energy hitter and the ultimate weapon for peak time with big, powerful builds yet packed with groove, standout vocals and futuristic synths taking you on a journey into space. On the B-side ‘The Future’ follows suit with an extremely infectious bassline and trippy FX. This is a  killer two track release not to be missed!

Eskuche & Nu Sky are djs/producers of the house & techno scene from New York City. Knowing each other from early 2000's and inspired by vibe of New York City they decided to combine their innovative ideas and make collaboration.

They started with a release on New York City's legendary label - Nervous Records. Soon followed the release of "Detroit EP" on TLK Rec. / Talk Musique. This release got huge support in a short period of time. Deep House diva Maya Jane Coles took the "Detroit" in her famous 300 XLR Podcast and then it stayed for a while in her playlist during her residency at Richie Hawtin's "Enter" parties in Ibiza.

Further releases came on labels like OOsh Music, Blend it Records, SunSun records, Gris Musique and Sk Supreme. Their tracks are being supported by such big names in the industry like Marco Carola, Loco Dice, Dubfire, Laurent Garnier, Joseph Capriati, Stacey Pullen, Figueroa, Phillip Ort and many more.
