This time we bring you AOKI takamasa’s incredible opening set for the BAR stage on the first night of Moment last year. This set is a perfect showcase for AOKI’s unique musical vision and unparalleled talent as a selector. Listen as he skillfully manipulates the elements of stillness and movement and precision and power, interweaving them through the ever-shifting nature of Tenkawa Village. Laima Adelaide - Opening set Tresor Berlin (new faces), 04.09.2024

Here is the recording of my opening set for new faces at Tresor Berlin.
In this format I only played my own productions and a few remixes. Also it was a challenge to create a storyline with a fixed set of tracks. 
I started to release this sound in 2020 and it has given me a lot of joy to work on music (and also some pain now and then), meet people from the scene and travel to places to perform.

Laima Adelaide - Opening Set New Faces @Tresor Berlin, 4.9.24

This edition of The Bunker Podcast comes in the form of a peak time live set from @doltzdeep, a label artist on DJ Nobu's Bitta imprint who will be performing live at The Bunker x Bitta party in Brooklyn on Friday November 29.

When we asked @djnobu_bitta who else he wanted to bring from the label for this showcase, he immediately suggested Doltz. Doltz started his musical career in 1998 as a drummer in a hardcore punk band, and had a fateful encounter with DJ Nobu, who shares the same musical roots, when they were billed alongside each other at a party in 2022. Impressed by Doltz's live performance, DJ Nobu immediately booked him for his residency party 'reprise' at Womb Tokyo. The two hit it off and began exchanging tracks, with DJ Nobu actively playing out Doltz's tracks while touring across the world and receiving a good response. Doltz's live set at The Bunker will be his US debut!

A Side "Shimmerdown" has been a rare grip for a long time on the original CSM wax, due to its status as one of the finest Rhodes-soaked, late-into-the-function cuts ever made. "SPQR", on the flip, is a massive house tune. Heavyweight action on both sides for the Deejays. Both tunes remastered by Dietrich Schoenemann at Complete. Yes!

The Essential Mix is a weekly radio show on BBC Radio 1 currently broadcast between 0:00 - 2:00 AM UK time on Saturday morning. Originally broadcast on 30 October 1993, the Essential Mix features contemporary DJs and music producers of electronic dance music. The show has been presented since its inception by Pete Tong and features an uninterrupted two-hour mix from a different artist each week, overlaid with occasional continuity announcements delivered by Tong. With a broadcast run in excess of 25 years, the Essential Mix is one of the longest-running programmes in the current BBC Radio 1 schedule, and is one of very few Radio 1 shows which is not broadcast live.
