Arrosa is a German born, Turkish DJ and producer. 

She is the founder of London based record label @khoinix and she founded her own event series @necropolisfestival which happens at an old church from 1563 in London. 

She likes to experiment with different genres and her sound is ranging from 90s old school techno tracks to acid, dark disco, EBM, industrial, and electro. 

She released her tracks on the same compilation with Blush Response, Crystal Geometry and Drvg Cvltvr. She did remixes for Duellist, iFormat and Sydney Valette. Her new track collaborated with Petra Flurr is coming soon on her label on the same compilation with Arnaud Rebotini, Codex Empire, Minimum Syndicat and Slave to Society.

The Forgotten CCLVII: Arrosa

DJ set at The Breakfast Club // Easter Monday 2021 // 2-4pm

Fill-Lex Records is back with a VA, three international producers (ImiAFan & Adrian Smith, Retrograde Youth, RNXRX) vs 3 national producers (Lex-Or & Go5, WLDV, SOJ). On the first side we find the experienced ImiAFan, Slovak electro synthpop artist owner of 4mgrecords and Adrian Smith (vocals and synthesizers) in the 80's cult band "Click Click", great veteran and precursor of the maximum splendor of EBM. The track "try again" is a revision of an original track released on the Holland label Seja, darkwave with industrial style.

After his visit to Valencia on the first anniversary of the label, Retrograde Youth shows us a completely different side to what we are used to, MMF is an exquisite track close to a more experimental sound, with long development, layers of synthesizers that generate a sonic wall. Finally, on side A we find the Argentine producer RNXRX, with his characteristic sound of industrial techno, with EBM dyes, in which he shows us his most aggressive side, with a track 100% focused on raising the track.

On the B-side are the Spanish producers. Lex-Or & Go 5 return to do their thing once again, a track with much more rhythm to which we are accustomed, in which they explore a sound more focused on the track. "Bozal 19" was composed during the summer of confinement, industrialism, heaviness and a markedly political discourse lead us to an originally unsettling track. WLDV is a well-known producer in the current EBM scene, Horror disco, darkwave, with releases on labels such as (Giallo Disco, Bordello a Parigi or Waste Editions). Nathan brings us a rythm noise / EBM track with melodies close to dark ambient.
Finally, we have SOJ, the head thinker at Soil Records and maximum bastion of the EBM/Industrial sound that is stirring up Spain at the moment. Cycle is a song that touches our soul as it gathers many influences of the Valencia sound from which the label has been nurtured since its childhood. Clear and defined beats and pads, along with a mix that seems to transport you to the early 90's with the industrial ebm and new beat touch of the Valencian route.

B2 - WLDV - Who Are You

We are delighted to welcome the ever brilliant LISSA to idlestates for episode 41. Now based in berlin where her Dj’ing has gone to new levels having taken her unique blend of Post punk, industrial and EBM to legendary dancefloors at Tresor and Kit Kat. Here the Glasgow born artist showcases these sounds throughout.

Mix Series 020 - BLOODY MARY

Born and raised in Bucharest, Romania, Borusiade aka Miruna Boruzescu started dj-ing in 2002 as one of the very few female DJs in the city’s emerging alternative clubbing scene.
Influenced by a classical musical education, a bachelor in film direction and fascinated by raw electronic sounds Borusiade combined these universes in the construction of her DJ sets and starting 2005 also in her music production.

Her sound is gloomy and epic, with beats that touch one’s deepest senses on the dance-floor.

Expatriated in Berlin, and after experimenting with different projects, Borusiade slowly crystallised a sound of her own, often dark, with poignant bass lines, obsessive themes and by all means melodic.

After her successful debut EP “Jeopardy” on Cómeme in 2016, “Feelings Of Entropy” came out the same year on Jennifer Cardini’s label Correspondant.
2017 she released a split EP on Veronica Vassika’s acclaimed label Cititrax, carving her way into a more industrial sound and proving the complexity of her production.

Her first LP “A Body” was released on Cómeme in 2018.
Other EPs followed: ‘Their Specters’ on Berlin infamous Ostgut Ton’s sublabel Unterton and Misfits Of Broken Dreams’ on the Dutch label Pinkman Records.
2020 marked the release of the second LP 'Fortunate Isolation' on the infamous american label Dark Entries.

Sparse tracks and remixes on labels like Dekmantel, Osàre! Editions, Microdosing, Diffuse Reality, Monika Enterprise, Relish, and Romanian label P-Balans.

Monthly, Borusiade shares her broad musical universe in the radio show The Dreamcatcher on Radio Cómeme.

DTP#46 - Egzotikka

Egzotikka is the project of Osvaldas Bertašius, a Lithuanian artist based in London. Working somewhere between minimal electronics, post-punk, cold wave, and lo-fi EBM, often using analog machines, dusty drum boxes, tape hiss, and his own voice.
He runs the META MOTO label and radio show, for us an absolutely safe bet for cold wave, post punk and obscure electronics and has released music on Detriti Records and Raw Culture just to name a few, both solo and in collaboration (most recently with Shaknis).

For this mix he went fully 7-inch vinyl, all of them chosen with great care. Moving between minimal wave, post-punk, EBM, lo-fi electronics, synth stuff, between cold and anxious, slow and broken, but always a bit clingy and raw. Enjoy.

Cette semaine, c'est la Parisienne @Substencia qui rejoint la liste des invités des Standalone Series. DJ et productrice dont le son se situe surtout dans l'univers techno dark et industrielle, elle s'est pliée pour nous à un exercice de style, fouillant dans ses influences musicales de ces 20 dernières années. 

Il en sort un set tantôt ambient-indus, rythmique noise, tantôt broken-beat/idm, en passant bien évidemment par des classiques techno et pure industrielle.
Pour créer cette ambiance parfois cosmique et métallique, elle nous dit avoir "tenté d'harmoniser au mieux l’ensemble en choisissant des morceaux à la rythmique particulièrement dense et sophistiquée, tout en prenant soin de faire ressortir l’émotion des morceaux plus electronica comme ceux de Gescom, ou encore cette balade improbable et méconnue de Surgeon."
