"I started this adventure back in 2013 as a creative outlet of sorts - a way to work with my more 'experimental' ideas. The Aurora Principle has since become my main creative focus, and I couldn't be happier about it. I've truly fallen in love with music-making all over again. Whether it be crafting delicate drones or structuring complex melodies, I take immense pleasure in each step of my production process. Though it can be frustrating sometimes, knowing that I'm part of something so incredible gives me a real sense of purpose.

'And the Waves Washed Over Me' is, if nothing else, a perfect embodiment of my passion for experimental production. Its elements were prepared, rendered, fed into a granular resampler, edited, recorded, processed, and re-arranged to create something completely different."
