ICE-E is lifted up into the sky by black masses of tar. It keeps going,  growing taller and taller as more of its goopy body pools into a recognizable shape. The Delta Warriors freeze in terror as its two glowing eyes peer down at them; one yellow and one pink. The silence in the air is shattered as it opens its mouth in a shrieking roar of some unidentifiable emotion. Its hulking mass bolts forward with frightening speed.

Any and all plans the trio were thinking of in the moment were vanquished. Their hearts thumped in their chests and an immense dread filled their body. All thoughts were replaced with one simple instinct.

RUN.

The Delta Warriors are backed into a corner. Black tendrils shoot up into the sky, blocking their only avenue of escape. Their only hope of survival is to fight ICE-E as Susie hacks away at the tendrils.

Nihils are a deformed species not meant to exist. Both them and the lands they live in serve as a garbage dump for time and space. There are at least two previous World Cycles known about; the Alpha Cycle and Beta Cycle. Inhabitants with a strong enough willpower were able to persist into the next cycle. The Delta Warriors were not the first to fight to save their world. Will they be the last?

They could only hold it off for so long. Kris was thrown to the ground while Ralsei was downed. ICE-E thrust itself upon Kris, its face close enough to smell its putrid breath. Kris gagged as the beast's mass surrounded them. Their eyes closed as they expected the worst...

but nothing happened. It reached into their pocket and retrieved something. ICE-E snarled as it backed up off Kris and vanished into the dark.

While Susie was left attempting her healing magic on her companions, a bright blue light exploded in the distance. The air immediately feels colder.

The Delta Warriors had obtained a legendary artifact during a quest for their potential new ally. By doing some digging and listening to gossip, ICE-E had figured out the best way to ambush them and take it for itself. With the artifact in its possession, it wastes no time with the plan. A cool mist envelops the surrounding land as it transforms into a hellish wasteland of frost and despair. His glory shall be restored.

The very air around them feels full of mystical energy. So much so, in fact, that Ralsei comments on its abnormality. The party continues on, feeling the presence grow more concentrated the deeper they go. Kris freezes as their gaze catches on someone familiar.

Noelle's eyes peer down at the ground. She is unable to move; she is unable to think. No matter how much she tries, Susie's ax can't make a chip. Thick ice surrounds the girl, trapping her within. It seems the only way to free the doe is to confront her captor. Time's ticking before it's too late.

In Unimagined, December never went missing. Her life continued on as normal. The Holidays kept close with the Dreemurrs. Asgore was never fired by the Mayor for failing to find her daughter. Dess even got to see Asriel off to college.

After the events of Chapter 2's Dark World, something's gone awry. The city's fallen into a frenzy, citizens asking if Kris and Susie have seen Noelle. Something happened to her. She vanished without a trace.

Dess quickly fell into a downward spiral. The girl became reclusive, blaming herself for her sister's disappearance. It's not until witnessing events and gaining knowledge from an adventure does she take matters into her own hands.

A deal is struck. An unknown cost for a worthy price. If dealing with a Nihil will help her find her sister, so be it. It's better than wasting away and moping.

But the Delta Warriors have found Noelle before her. If they want to free her, they'll need to find whatever's using her as a magical battery. Hope is all they have.

But hope is not enough.

(5/7) Frozen Girl — Unimagined Chapter 6

"What the hell is THAT?" Susie called out. "It's... It's really damn creepy, but I don't know how to explain why. Let's get outta here as fast as we can..." The Delta Warriors found a throne room in the frozen wasteland. Three gems were carved into the headrest: blue on the left, purple in the middle, and green on the right. The blue and green ones were shattered and dulled, as though attacked in a fit of rage. Though, the throne itself was not what commanded the most attention. Rather, it was the statue sitting upon it, towering far above the three even while sitting. At least, it seemed like a statue.

Then it moved. It rose to its feet and let out a hearty but malicious and menacing chuckle. "AH, THe DeLTA WARRIORS," it spoke in a booming voice. "I KNeW YOU WOULD FINALLY COMe. THAT R-e-V-O-L-T-I-N-G SCeNT OF SCALeS CARRIeD BY THE WIND... I'D ReCOGNIZe IT ANYWHeRe." Before anyone could quip or make a move, the being's hand deftly wrapped around the entirety of Kris's body and hoisted it into the air. Ralsei tried whipping his scarf at him in a panic, which was as effective as a bee stinging an ironclad knight.

"YOU ARe N-O-T-H-I-N-G. A MeRe I-M-I-T-A-T-I-O-N OF YOUR PReDeCeSSOR. eNDING YOUR LIFe..." His other hand plunged into Kris's chest, fingers buried within for a second, only to return with the human's SOUL between two fingers. "... IS A MeRCY. A MeRCY I SHOULD NOT GRANT, BUT ONe I WILL GRANT ANYWAY. I KNOW YOU ARe WATCHING, BUTTeRFLY.  WATCH AS YOUR F-O-O-L-I-S-H LeGACY MeeTS ITS eND." Susie slung a Rude Buster at the goliath's chest, but a purple light bathed the area as he revealed his own SOUL. In just one swift moment, the light shifted from purple to green. The spell was harmlessly reflected off the green SOUL's shield, scattering into nothingness.

Beelize de Ruth is a Nihil from the Beta Cycle, one defined by bloodshed and war that valued power above all else. His strength allowed him to become, naturally, the King of Ice, and lead armies of Ice Elementals into glorious battle every day and night. When the time came to save the world from the Champion of Cataclysm, he became one of the three Beta Warriors, alongside the Bringer of Life and the Unaligned Anomaly.

However, the other Beta Warriors had a realization: the Beta Cycle's status quo of death and suffering could not continue. They betrayed Beelize at a pivotal moment, leading to the destruction of the Beta Cycle. The spite and hatred he felt for such a humiliating defeat, combined with his own raw strength, easily allowed him to survive as a Nihil beyond the Outskirts of Castle City.

When the time came for the Angel to choose a Champion of Cataclysm for the Gamma Cycle, Beelize was a perfect and fanatically eager candidate. He made a pact with a Lightner that allowed him to enter the Light World by making his face the mascot for a once-failing business, and under the name "Ice-E," he was able to slink into the Light World to open Dark Fountains. But the Gamma Warriors were unimaginably powerful, and Beelize tasted defeat yet again. As punishment for his failure, the Angel melted his body into blackened tar and placed him in perpetual agony.

But now, with the new Delta Warriors here, he can try once more to erase this world and bring back the Beta Cycle. All it took was stealing that Legendary Artifact, so that he could undo his own fate, and a certain magical conduit to keep his body frozen and stable.

Pizzapants, donning the mask of a dream eater, stands tall as the Roaring Knight. Just as individuals’ dreams die in the hands of places like Ice-E, the Knight wields the power to end all stories. He exists outside prophecies and is completely invincible. However, as the Delta Warriors face down this warrior at the end of their journey, he has unknowingly become part of a new legend— one of the three’s own making, and is finally open to attack. This is the heroes’ last chance to defeat the dream eater once and for all.
