"Dreams" by Fleetwood Mac, written by Stevie Nicks, is a song that delves into themes of love, heartbreak, and the realisation that relationships sometimes come to an end.
The song was written during a turbulent time for the band, particularly between Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham, who were going through a breakup.

The lyrics reflect the pain and acceptance of a relationship ending. For example, the line "Now here you go again, you say you want your freedom" suggests a recurring cycle of wanting independence, while "Well, who am I to keep you down?" shows a resigned acceptance of the situation1. The chorus, "Thunder only happens when it's raining," uses weather as a metaphor for the inevitability of trouble in relationships.

Overall, "Dreams" captures the emotional complexity of letting go and the bittersweet nature of moving on from a love that wasn't meant to last ❤

A bit of a deeper vibe this time, some really deep organic tracks, the kind of thing I really love, but some people not so much - not always the best for the dancefloor but great for listening at work or on the go.  I was going to make the whole mix really deep but I really wanted to play the MXV track at the end as it is currently living rent free in my head, so had to lift the vibe a bit towards the end with a bit of help from Dulus.
