The latest installment of my neverending genreshifting bender is here. ‘Boom Bap Techno Kutz Vol.1’ is a 3-track EP with Techno Kutz produced in a Boom Bap Hip Hop manner combining my love for both.
‘The Realness’ is a 420 anthem influenced by Jason Nevins-style cuts and powered by the Infamous Mobb and The Luniz vocal samples while ‘Amazon’ derives from Screamin’ Jay Hawkins’ ‘I Put A Spell On You’ (big up to DJ Premier and Biggie) combined with Nina Simones’ version of the same song worked into a rainforest-sounding emotional banger.
Last up is ‘The Secret Kung Fu’ wich is basically a 909 workout sprinkled with old school Kung Fu movie vocal chops heavily influenced by the greatest Hip Hop crew ever, the Wu-Tang Clan

Always been a fan of Henrik Schwarz and his infectious melodies and basslines. Which was an inspiration for this production. An upbeat house track featuring some jazz infused piano with trumpet licks and some percussion for the win. Enjoy!

Another chill house track with a steady kick drum and a driving bassline, creating a moderate tempo with a relaxed vibe you can dance to.

Synth pads with sustained chords and a plucked synth lead make for the melody.
Percussion includes off-beat closed/open hi-hats to add some flavour.
