The co-founder of Beats Of No Nation @beatsofnonationradio sits in the Electrocorp Mixtape sofa to spraed one hour of atmostpheric music selection.

A master of his ow art, Jad & The @jad-lee delivers genres bending productions and mixes for almost 10 years, and while his usual musical blends generally aim to make you dance, this new mixtape from the Australian artist follows a different path.

In these times of self exploration and home centric activities, Jad & The offers us a mix to be listened to. The selection is introduced with several downtempo tracks, that morphes into blossoming Ambient kickless sounds. The mix then sails through synthpads-driven electronic waves, chill hazy balearic house seas, to eventually strands on the infinite shores of breakbeat.

An atmospheric journey, as we said, exploring odd drum patterns and reverbing sound signals. A must listen, delivered to you by the one and only Jad & The.

Next into the mix series is Josh Caffe - a man you will have no doubt come across at some stage in your musical journey - and if not, you'll almost certainly be grateful for the introduction now. 

It's fair to say Josh is a master of a number trades within music, having made a name for himself as a selector, playing shows from Panorama Bar, live with Hannah Holland, all the way up to one of the world's largest festival crowds, with his residency at BLOCK9 at Glastonbury. 

It's arguably equally, if not more so, as an artist which has enabled Josh to make his imprint on the Sonisphere. His unique production style combined with his vocals has seen him achieve a discography of highly coveted releases on his own label, Night Sheen, as well as outlets such as Nervous Records, Crosstown Rebels, BPitch and Dixon Avenue Basement Jam's to name a few. His collaborations with scene legends such as Honey Dijon and Paranoid London have also received much praise, and certainly worth checking out if you haven't done so already.

This mix encapsulates Josh's penchant and encyclopedic knowledge of selecting in dance music. Notes of Acid, House and Techno combine and echo throughout, providing one of the most intriguing dancefloor temptations we have received in a long while.

I haven't actually put something like this together before but wanted to share a few sounds outside of the dance spectrum.

Eddie Reynolds aka Tr One is a DJ and producer based in Carlow, Ireland. A much-respected figure within Ireland’s fertile electronic music scene, Reynolds cites the likes of Dublin’s D1 Recordings, Kraftwerk and J Dilla as early influences. Equally inspired by vintage sounds from Chicago and Detroit, he started dabbling in production in the early 00s alongside fellow Irish producer, Dean Feeney. As Tr One the duo released their first EP, ‘Inner Thoughts’ via the much-respected Fine Art imprint back in 2007. An auspicious slice of deep, acid-led techno, the title track quickly introduced the duo to a whole new audience outside of their native land.

Fast-forward over a decade and although the project may now consist of Reynolds only, his dedication to all things house, techno and electro remains unwavering. A prolific producer, Reynolds’ sounds have led him to some of his country’s most-renowned labels, including Lunar Disko, Apartment, Bodytonic and Pogo. What’s more, his music has earned the respect of numerous high-profile names, and has been remixed by a stellar cast including Sonja Moonear, Lerosa and John Heckle.

From a DJ perspective, Reynolds has played in all of Dublin’s foremost nightspots including Twisted Pepper, Wigwam, Twitch Belfast and District 8. A DJ with a truly eclectic vision, this is represented in the names he has played alongside. From Juan Atkins to DJ Stingray to Helena Hauff, Dave Clarke, Surgeon, Maurice Fulton and Steffi, Reynolds is a DJ capable of stepping up under any occasion.

Reynolds’ latest endeavours have brought him to scene-shaping British label Don’t Be Afraid (where last year he released one of his most-cherished releases to date, the magnificent ‘A Month Has Passed’ EP), as well as Lunar Disko, where he collaborated again, this time alongside compatriot R Kitt on the no-less-emphatic sounds of LDRX7. With future releases in the pipeline for Lunar Disko as well as numerous others to follow, these are exciting times for one of Ireland’s most consistent electronic music producers.

For the forth  episode of our podcast Series, Our Guest is  Manchester based producer and DJ @hiddenspheres , aka, Tom Harris. His own productions, one could summaries, as impeccable euphoric blissed-out Detroit inspired house with flirtations in jazzy hip hop. Tom made his mark on the underground circuit with his release ’The Bloos’ on Legendary motor city Label ‘Moods & Grooves. A seasoned DJ and artist made his debut on Bradley Zero’s Rhythm Section with the EP ‘Well Well’ and reached top 10 spots in dance charts around the globe. He is however most well-known for his continually repressed and in demand EP ‘Waiting’, the debut release on lobster theremins off shoot Distant Hawaii, which graced the top of many end of year lists. Also he hosts monthly show ‘Fruit Merchant’ on NTS Radio.
