Of so many disappointing and aggravating aspects in human life, the pigs of society are the worst. For my entire existence I may previously not have been one to go on about love...and although I may still continue to create violent songs, like this one, with rage, personified, that are aimed at key elements that despise, I, now, generate my energy from a source that I've never had before... The love of a soul that has given me a reason to live again........I love you Xio.

Hurtful

This is the second track made for my Introduction to Computer Music Class. I wanted the track to feel that it is getting lighter (not as busy) as the track went on. Also I wanted a piece of the track to reveal itself throughout the track. For this I used Opening by Philip Glass from his 1982 album Glassworks. The transition is the tuning of a 1960's era radio. most of the sound come from freesound.org. This project was required to have MIDI, so in the beginning I "play" a Glass Bell preset and a Ambient Guitar Landscape preset, with added tremolo effect. Both of these presets are found in Logic Pro X. Enjoy!

Controlled Chaos #1

This track was accepted into the 2017 Radiophrenia broadcast. It was initially broadcast on November 10th.  The track starts with a field recording of Ball State's campus a few days before the fall semester started. Then it goes into a recording of the main square in Krakow, Poland I made while visiting family over the summer, Finally I go back to the recording I started with. I added sound that I thought could compliment these recording: nature sounds at the beginning since the university recording is somewhat quiet, busier sounds in the middle, and a soft end. This track represents all the sounds of our world mixing together to create each person's individual soundscape.

Rather I'm looking for singers along the lines of Dio, Judas Priest, Nightwish/Tarot, Kamelot, Manowar, King Diamond, Type O Negative, Mats Levan, Chris Cornell, Badlands, Clark Brown (of Geezer) and any-or-all of the various Black Sabbath vocalists.

FEMALE VOCALS: Jazz and/or Classically trained or equivalent ability, soprano or mezzo-soprano. I am not looking for death/black/hardcore vocals. Rather I'm looking for singers along the lines of After Forever, Revamp, Epica, Nightwish 2007-2012, Therion,Within Temptation, Delain, Kristy Thirsk, We Are The Fallen, Evanescence, 80s Pat Benatar, 90s Sarah McLachlan, 90s Tori Amos, Kate Bush, Paula Cole, In This Moment (Maria's singing voice, not her screaming voice).

BASS GUITARIST: Capable of handling the styles of Steve Harris, Cliff Burton, Rudy Sarzo, Geezer Butler, and the bassists who have worked with King Diamond. I frequently use 5-string bass in my compositions, along with 4-string in standard tuning, and 4-string tuned D-to-F.

DRUMMER: Capable of handling the styles of Nightwish, After Forever, Kamelot, Mercyful Fate, King Diamond, and Judas Priest. Ideally you have your own practice-space and can host band practice; not an absolute necessity, though.

KEYS/PIANO: Played in the styles of Nightwish, Delain, After Forever, Kamelot, Evanescence, and King Diamond.

LEAD GUITARIST: If you can shred, and you enjoy the music spoken of here, get in touch with me. (And by "shred", I mean you're either as solid as Yngwie and Alexi, or can match Randy Rhodes in both technique and knowledge of music theory). I frequently use 7-string guitar in my compositions, along with 6-string in standard tuning, and 6-string in D-to-D tuning.

This is a recording of me messing around on a piano. I added a excerpt of morning sounds that I recording in Krakow, Poland to help fill out the space. Then I slowly added and infinite reverb from Pro Tools to turn the piano into a drone.  The recording of the piano was split from stereo to mono in Pro Tools so that I could very the time when the reverb started to slowly come in. The right channel is immediate while the reverb on the left starts 5 min later.  FYI, this track is one of my mother's favorites.
