Hi my name is Mark Baumgartner aka MGB. I am a rapper from Kansas City, Missouri. I graduated from William Jewell College with Biology and Psychology majors and a pre med minor. Writing rap is my passion and Eminem is my favorite artist. Currently I am trying to become a pharmaceutical rep.

I was born into the circus life and became a living human joke at the age of five. Don't patronize me. I'm not a restaurant. At my wits' end without a whit to spare.

I grew up around music. My father was a musician and recorded in the studio locally as well as on stage at bars, weddings and some of his bands had shirts they sold. Sadly, he did not pursue fame and fortune. But I love to sing and was once signed to a local record label here back in 2002. PR fell through and I lost my management due to domestic situations and left to San Antonio to make it on my own in 2003. I have had several editors choice awards and have written a book, which at this time is not published but will be. Without the proper management I lost everything. Now I love to share other artists via networking online because their trying gives me hope that I might be able to do something more than just be an assistant for a training director.

An avid listener and DJ of electronic music for well over a decade, Agora has been a staple in the Ohio Valley Underground scene. His methodical mixing style and deep crates filled with cuts new and old are a testament to how hard he has worked to become the artist he is today. 

His role in helping run C-Side Productions’ “Old Louisville SoundSystem” has not only helped him become a well rounded asset behind the scenes, but it has also given him a deeper appreciation for the sounds that inspire everyone to get up and dance. His affiliation with Lexington, Kentucky based Bassweight Entertainment has also been a vessel for him to grow as an artist and help bring the sound to the people, whether it is through the system, through a set, or both.
