"Contorted Dystopia" is more than just my debut mixtape — it's a raw, honest reflection of the tug-of-war between who I am and who the world demands me to be. As Cerebro, The Lyricist, it’s my sharpest pen yet. As Xavier Chops, it’s the most vulnerable I’ve ever been. It’s not just music; it’s my mirror.

The project is made up of 15 songs, split between two sonic worlds: 7 mainstream trap tracks and 8 boom bap joints. That split isn’t accidental — it’s intentional. It's the sound of me balancing between two extremes: the flashy noise of survival and the sacred quiet of self-awareness.

The trap songs are anthems of hunger, motion, chaos — the part of me that’s clawing for recognition in a world that loves surface over soul. The boom bap tracks, on the other hand, are where the real stories breathe. Where the pen bleeds. Where I speak on identity, pain, healing, and resilience without filters or distractions.

The term Contorted Dystopia speaks to a twisted reality — one where everything feels inverted. A place where joy is laced with guilt, where success feels foreign, and where being authentic almost feels like rebellion. This project is me trying to stretch truth through distortion, to create balance in imbalance. It’s my statement that beauty can be found in dysfunction. That clarity can come from the chaos.

To Cerebro, this is a literary war cry — the sharpest articulation of a mind fed up with conformity.
To Xavier, this is therapy — an archive of late nights, fears faced, and growth earned.
