Blue Room Sounds Podcast season continues with part 2 of the odyssey series from Xavier Morels, veteran DJ legend, Blue Room artist (Carcharadon Megalodon), and long-time label collaborator and DJ.

It's just after sundown; your shuttle awaits. Glide with us along the arc beams, feeling the gravitational pull of the thunder shafts as we zip through ginger rock canyons weaving between the tribal landscape of the water nomads. Deep ahead, the future awaits. Flashing in the distance like a mirror caught at sunset, the glowing metropolis humming on the horizon, the jutting steel montage of skyscrapers and air graters beckoning us to press harder on the plasma throttle. Not long now, as we slipstream across the mirrored lake into a carefully configured pod port. Autopilot gently lands. The door pops and hisses as the fragrant smell of electricity fizzles around. You give yourself a stretch and shake as you disembark the pod. Friends run to greet you. It's been too long, but that's ok. There's plenty of time. The night has just begun.

Music and art can very much touch us with the essence of symmetry, balance, fluidity, cohesion whilst their counterparts: dis-juncture, chaos, inertia, provide the tension that makes for the through-line: Story.

No wonder then that Xavier Morel, a veteran and simply awesome producer and Dj speaks in such terms. In these days where the distinction between artist and playlist are becoming less distinct, the essence of audio art is becoming distilled in its import.

Starting his DJ career off in 1988 Xavier has Dj'd throughout Europe, Australia and Asia, most particularly Japan where he was based for years.

On the production front has worked and collaborated with Juno Reactor, Prime Suspect, Section X, Eat Static, Fuel, Carcharodon Megalodon, VX & H229 (on Machine Label),Marcus Maichel,Shane Berry,Oz Morsley ,and project comming with greg hunter,Marcus Maichel. Presently very active on the new project with pat lazer (aka section x)  REPLICANTS 2049.
