RNT welcomes Cody Currie back to the catalog with an extended EP of soulful and jazzy original sounds. A project that’s been in the works since his label debut back in 2017, the “Cody Currie EP” is a refined statement of the rising star producer’s UK-jazz and club roots, both danceable and introspective. Enlisting a talented roster of collaborators, such as vocalists Stee Downes, RNT mainstay Cor.ece, and newcomer Marlena Dae as well as instrumentalists Mikeal and Ally McMahon, each track is like a little world of its own in the universe of Cody’s vast musical aesthetic. To round out the EP we have a stellar remix from European deep house royalty Vincenzo, who shows that his production tools are still sharp as ever.

The 3rd installment of Razor-N-Tape’s Family Affair series is home for the holidays! Now an annual end-of-year tradition, this year’s FA is a digital comp that sprawls across 13 tracks, representing artists from various corners of the globe and a wide range of musical styles.

This track is a preview of the upcoming collaborative album by Ezel & Rona Ray on Bayacou Records, set for release on 2nd February. After garnering critical acclaim with their previous singles, the duo is ready to unveil their magnum opus—a full album experience showcasing the depth of their joint creative vision.

Ezel, a Dominican producer, and Rona Ray, a singer/songwriter from Russia, have achieved significant success both together and individually on the global scene. Rona Ray, with her distinctive vocal timbre and masterful lyrical and harmonic feats, has established herself as a force to be reckoned with in the modern soulful house landscape. Ezel, a rising star in the elite ranks of house music producers, has delivered chart-topping hits and remixes, solidifying his position in the modern underground dance music scene.

Their first collaboration, ‘Hard to Stay Away’, released in 2021, still dominates Spotify's main editorial charts and has earned praise from notable DJs such as Dj Spinna, Kai Alce, and Isoul8. The song's vinyl release, featuring a memorable remix by UK house maestro Atjazz, remains highly coveted. The follow-up single, “No Gravity”, stands out for its clever use of an odd time signature, garnering attention in the genre. 

Their summer hit, “Don't Know Yet”, has received ongoing support from house music royalty like Mousse T, Ash Lauryn, Natasha Diggs, and Seth Troxler. DJ Spen described it as a representation of how the genre should sound in 2023.

Now, the duo presents ‘Take Me Home’, the culmination of their three-year collaboration. This track serves as a definitive testament to their chemistry, showcasing a wondrous interplay of influences within deeply satisfying modern dance music. Rooted in soul and authenticity, Ezel & Rona Ray bring their unique sound to discerning audiences worldwide.
