Marley Young (born Ray G. Patrick; August 6, 1987) is an Independent recording artist, songwriter and C.E.O. of H.I.T.M. Music. He grew up in Kansas City, Missouri, in a notoriously crime filled area known as "the 50's". Marley has managed to surpass the expectations those raised in that area see as the norm. 

At the age of 11 years old his older brother taught him how to write lyrics. Marley's career started when he was 15 years old when he was signed by a local record label called 3rd Wall Entertainment. During this period he met RawBeatZz, 3rd Wall's in-house producer at the time. Marley has considered RawBeatZz a great influence and mentor throughout his career. Marley's talent caught the attention of Sean Paul of the legendary Atlanta duo YoungBloodZ. This led to multiple features and collaborations with each half of YoungBloodZ.

Over the course of his independent career, Marley has collaborated and written songs with both underground and mainstream heavy-hitters such as Gucci Mane, Young BloodZ, RawBeatZz, Keak Da Sneak, Yukmouth, Rich the Factor, Boy Big, JL (Strange Music) and Louisiana Cash.

Marley recently released 'No Attitude', the first single from his upcoming album that will be a follow up to  'Summer of 87'.
