In a more philosophical approach, the Mossaic represents the ancient links which connects humankind to nature, and brings to light our buried ancestral and wild roots that this music aims to reveal. The path to the core of our metaphysical heritage is deep and tortuous…

The scent of bark, fungi and wet moss filling your nostrils while you surrender to the spirit of the woods. A familiar, yet so foreign fragrance, your eyes drenched in a deep green, it feels like home. Accompanied by a tender melody sung by the birds, soft rays of light cutting through leafy crowns, the gentle rustling embedded in insectoid humming. "Strangely, jester-type entities commonly appear in the DMT experiences. In DMT: THE SPIRIT MOLECULE, many participants reported encountering “clowns”, “jesters”, “jokers”, and “imps” during their experiences with the substance. Many users report also describe these types of entities as ‘tricksters’. These entities are often engaged in elaborate and mind-boggling performances and tricks. The environment they inhabit can also reﬂect their entertaining nature, with many users ﬁnding themselves in strange dimensions that resemble a circus, carnival, or casino. In fact, Terence McKenna said that “the archetype of DMT is the circus”. The prevalence of jesters and tricksters in the DMT experience is quite curious. Why do so many people come to meet them? The writer Paul Mattick reiterates this point, noting that jesters “violate principles of social and natural order, playfully disrupting normal life and then re-establishing it on a new basis.” And this is exactly what the jesters and trickster entities in the DMT realm like to do. They break the rules, in an absolutely confounding manner. They will dismantle, construct, manifest themselves, move, and perform tricks that seem to bend all notions of causality, normality, and sense. These entities will casually throw all of your reference points and preconceptions out the window. Breaking the laws of physics and playing games with reality is what they do best."

Xed - Giving & Receiving

Xed is the psytrance project by the Founder of Patronus records, Cedric Marugg. He discovered the psytrance scene and started playing DJ-Sets at local parties in 2016 and got himself immersed deeply into everything about it, due to falling in love with the music and dancing. After some parties he decided to organize his own events in the Swiss mountains and gather experience organizing raves. After two years of DJing he decided to dive into music production and started developing his skills with help by some of his friends (Mirror Engine, Metrix, Yaroc a.m.m.). Cedric quickly learned and distinguished himself as having a unique style very early on. 

As time went on, next to putting in lots of time into the record label, his production only grew more mature and clean, not loosing a bit in creative ideas. Wild, unorthodox breaks, funky stinging raygun sounds, poisonous acid stabs, reckless alien space battles and all the gud spacey shit included. Fun but yet introspective psychedelia, but undoubtedly different, generating excitement through sheer overflow of creative and brain-twirling patterns and grooves. Blasting as loud as possible is a moral obligation. 

He had the honor to play at some big events like the Sangoma Night in Zürich, Utopia Festival in Ticino, Sundaze festival,Burning Mountain, Reisefieber Festival & Sensory Spectrum in Oman. Patronus Records has been founded officially in 2018 and since then, Cedric, with all the fire in his heart, has been continuously putting great effort and work into it. His goals are always growing as an individual. He's driven by the idea of giving music lovers and dancers a smile, as well as hosting a family of like-minded people and giving them soil to grow on.
