I am working on an album for this freaky lot. Why? Because it's a heck of a lot of fun. Trying to recreate some goth club memories from the 1990s. Building a band that should have been. It incorporates all sorts of elements from music I've experienced in various states of inebriation, leaving a lasting impact. And here I am sharing that experience.

This is a hypnotic stoner/grunge track not dissimilar to some tracks we used to play live. With a twist, of course, because we were all guys, and this lot is not.

Going back to early new wave... Proto shoegaze. Because this fictional witchpunk band needs to go through a whole evolution of different styles indeed.

I really like how this track turned out. It's kind of experimental with the tempo changes, and the vocals are sweet too.

Suprise song "out of the blue" as I struggled to record "windscreen."  I'd been so looking forward to the 2016 eclipse, I'd read a s#!t-ton of internets stuff and watched a lifetime worth of documentaries.  Planet was burning. Germinating idea was that Eb chord from the chorus of Jeff Buckley's "Grace.."💙  And I think I remember something about magnetars, supernovae and black holes.  Wormholes or something?  Time warp?  I dunno. No tellin'.  It sat and aged for a long time. Anyway. =j

The creature was dropped into what can only be described as an oversized glass jar. As it awoke, it dragged itself to the sides, feeling the cold glass against its unconventional skin. Images mixed with yellow light from the laboratory were blurred and distorted through the curved edges. The creature raised a shaking claw and gently tapped it against the glass...
