The eponymous debut outing by THIN LIPS is a concept album based on the poetry of Karen Alkalay-Gut, the renowned Israeli poetess, who, by the way, writes more in English than in Hebrew.

Inspired by electronic artists, Andre Acila began composing electronic music at the mere age of 11, but rose to prominence with the release of “Virya” in 2020 among a plethora of additional house singles with fellow dj/producer Adrian Jacobs. After witnessing a pool party in 2021, Andre has been experimenting with a harmonious mixture of cinematic orchestration, classic tech house grooves and basslines, and progressive melodies. Be on the lookout, Andre Acila will prove to be a household name among club goers in the coming years.
