I went old school with this one. Keys, drums, weird acid trip meltdown somewhere in the middle. Just like all my old shit from like 2005. First attempt at a key shift, too... I think it works well enough.

Added some more riffs to the end. Gonna rework the filters that kick in sometime later this week so they transition a bit better, and get into more details with the drums for the second half.

Sooooo here's a pro tip: ALWAYS SAVE YOUR PROGRESS. I didn't, and my DAW crashed while trying to export the latest version of this song. My saved progress is missing the last minute or so of guitars, plus a ton of minor changes throughout. This copy was a work-in-progress version that I had here on soundcloud to listen to at work and stuff to figure out what else to change, and is the most current version I have. The entire outro (the best part, imo) was mostly an accident at first, and I have no idea how to recreate certain parts of it. Oh well. :/ There were better fills in a couple spots too, but what's here does the job. So yeah. SAVE YOUR SHIT. 

This is the same song that was called Relentless, but soundcloud always tweaks out when I upload a newer version with the same title, and that 2.0 shit is lame. It's called Orchestral Thing because the original idea was this big epic orchestral jam all the way through, but in the end it got super toned down and now the only strings are some of the layers in the intro. It's funny how much an idea can change over the course of its production... Anyways.

3:15. WHAT. World record. It even has an outro and everything! There's chugs, clean bits, heavy bits... And there's a surprising lack of piano on this one lol. This one came out of the same Halloween inspiration pit that spawned my last song, so the style is kind of similar, but whatever. Enjoy!
