The last track from my 2019 album Halo. This is 'Tearful'. I wrote this piece when it seemed that everything in life was going against me and I was in fact, a little tearful when I wrote this - hence the title...

Writing music like this which is explicity sad serves as a reminder to me, that simply put; there are good times and bad times. And although happiness prevails when we're feeling good and everything seems to be going well, when we are feeling sad, isolated, and crestfallen, it's important to actually embrace that feeling. You can't have the good without the bad, and perhaps there have been times where I haven't completely understood why I'm feeling sad, or why I'm feeling negative. It's important to sit with that feeling, and allow yourself to not feel okay. It'll pass, and everything will be okay, but stop to listen to yourself. You know yourself better than anyone else. I hope you can relax here :)
