I feel like sincerity in/and rock have been dying a slow death since like 2003, and sometime around 2010 I started feeling embarrassed about these young recordings where I would just puke my soul out to a mostly indifferent crowd. But today I was looking at some old rock videos featuring guys doing that, and it reminded me why I ever even tried that.

The last time I performed this song was at a dive called Misfits in Nagoya, Japan. The first line drew uproarious laughter from the audience.

Down To Earth - Low Orbit Scenario

(I've decided to take on the personal challenge to post 1 beat a day throughout the month of April. This could be something new, or something from the archives. I will decide as I go along.

This is mostly for personal accountability, but I appreciate anyone who follows me on this journey.)

There was a good while where I worked on a style with big distorted beats and melancholy guitars.  I called it "Gothic Bass" in lieu of a better name.  This was one of the projects from that time, and I'll probably be posting more during this month.
