i think they made a mistake,  it wasnt me, they wanted,
i was special once, i was a star, my own bowl
called me dartanion, yes, i know but,  
i had the ears they said of a musketeer 
my respect and devotion, were up to here..

but i got a bad feeling, couldnt pin it down, 
the more i barked about it, more trouble i found
and then one night late,  the moon hung heavy on the A38 
they threw my ball and i ran like a champion

when i got back with my prize, they were gone
maybe it was aliens, maybe it was aliens..
and i waited and i waited,

theyre good to me here but i got an idea i wont be staying long, 
some of my mates have already gone
