A cornerstone of the Romanian community, Nu Zau has always been at the fore of the minimal movement within his highly influential domestic circles. Still, it is his work outside of his native land that has moved the sound forward and he has grown alongside it. As the Romanian strain of intricate, yet emotive minimal began to evolve into a more stripped form, Nu Zau and his co-founded UVAR imprint were at the vanguard. With a slew of solo productions in the works, Nu Zau’s aforementioned co-run label has also enjoyed the recent release of the 10 years of UVAR VA.
