Born in Hamburg and based in Berlin since 2011, Viscerale has a classical
background in piano and found her passion to select the music for the right moment since she was young.

Her first electronical mixtapes appeared around 2015, which led to performing in Clubs around 2 years later. After holding a 1 year residency at Ved Siden Af in Copenhagen, she joined the Source Artists agency in 2021. 

You can find her regulary in Paris, London, CPH and in Berlin Club´s like Säule (Berghain), Ohm, About Blank and more.
Driven by strong emotions and influenced by various genres from Techno to Trance & Hardcore. Her journeys are seeking high energy levels in a playful way with surprising twists, where 140 bpm upwards is the comfort zone.

It’s this unique melting pot of influence that carves CAIVA’s distinct lane from within the techno circuit; a contemporary classical approach gathered from musicology studies that has moulded beautifully with ghostly folk and golden-era ambient-techno influence. Her debut „Fatigue“ on UK label Lobster Theremin is now followed by a release on Live From Earth in collaboration with Julian Muller. With much more in the pipeline CAIVA is set to have a huge (and totally uncliched) 2022.

With the age of 17 Joanna graduated the "International Academy of Electronic Music" (AIMEC) in Curitiba. Joanna Coelho moved to The Netherlands and concluded the Electronic Music Production Course at SAE Rotterdam. From then on, she focused not only in her performances but also dared her first steps as a producer. Joanna has produced and played in the same line-ups as Jeff Mills, Sven Väth, Svetec, N.O.B.A , Alex TB, Pet Duo and other stars in the most varied countries and festivals in Portugal, Spain, Colombia, Austria, Germany, Slovenia, Croatia, Argentina and France amongst many others. She is working hard and knows how to evolve herself continuously, and grow with many new challenges and projects. She seeks to express her skills and personality through her music, bringing strong techno vibes into the scene. Currently signed with DSR digital, Sonaxx, and Dolma.
