St. Paul Slim, a musician native to the Twin Cities, is more than your typical Midwestern rapper. Slim has found musical success with being a part of two of the most influential rap records to come out of the cities (Strictly Leakage in collaboration with Atmosphere & Recession Music with fellow Stophouse labelmate & recent Rhymesayers signee, PROF), he has had his music featured in motion pictures, video games and television shows, as well as being a staple performer and emcee on the stages of festivals like Soundset & SummerFest. Slim's solo work includes one EP and three full-length records. 




He has also found his place as a locally renowned abstract and graffiti artist.  He was a participant in the Hennepin Theater Trust and is displaying his artwork for the fall/winter Made Here MN 2015 exhibit located at the Mall of America.

A picture of constant evolution, Farr Well is a hip-hop artist with a striking sense of self-awareness and purpose. A couple of refugees from the Metal scene I/O & Walrus have been working as a duo for years. With a focus on complex rhyme schemes, speed, energy, and singing their own hooks they are ready to come into the game with the intelligence and the high energy live shows you would expect from a couple metal heads.

Whether rapping, producing, performing, teaching kids to beatbox or working the former job of a youth counselor, it’s clear Carnage The Executioner was born to do two things: instruct and entertain. Musicians, dancers, DJ's, poets and television hosts who have worked with Carnage recognize his dedication to his craft and would confirm that he doesn’t disappoint. Ask emcees about Carnage’s skill level and you’ll find out that the phrase, "he’s your favorite rapper’s favorite rapper,” actually fits.

A music fan since childhood, Carnage has filled his memory bank with thousands of references from all genres to draw from. Carnage’s start as a human beat boxer has taken on a life of its own. He now uses technology like looping and effects pedals commonly used by guitarists. He enhances the experience of a live Hip-Hop show by providing his audiences the opportunity to hear original Carnage material, as well as unique improvisations and spot-on recreations of popular songs. Carnage uses this same musical knowledge and technology to create custom, studio human beat box tracks. His audio vision via mouth music can be heard on albums by Hip-Hop heavyweights Aesop Rock and R.A. The Rugged Man. Carnage is also a self-trained song writer who’s skilled enough to compose a heart-felt story as easily as he can craft an intricate battle rap.

Carnage gained national fame from his past guest appearances with Eyedea & Abilities. It’s his own original songs, however, that allow his fans to connect with him the most. Songs like Addict, Save My People and The MTW Story give fans a glimpse into the real-life experiences of Carnage the human being. 

Always moving forward, Carnage continues to expand his art and build the Hecatomb crew - a slew of like-minded artists who share his passion to create honest, raw Hip-Hop music. The members of this electro-funk hip-hop duo have been playing together for over a decade. Barry Rohrer (aka Brainchild) and Frederick N. Gotfredson Herrera (aka Fredy Herrera) met when they played with the Minneapolis hip-hop band Leroy Smokes. The group won a Los Angeles Music Award for Best Rap Album and appeared on Bodog’s Million Dollar Battle of The Bands reality show on FUSE-TV. When The Jones Dickens started out as a basement jam session, the chemistry was undeniable. Soon they had a full set of live songs and a fully produced album to go along with it.

With their debut album, Nine, two-piece band The Jones Dickens captures the energy of their live show, showcasing hard-hitting drum work, a deep bass groove, punchy keyboards, and inspired vocal performances. Band members Brainchild and Fredy Herrera are not only instrumentalists but also vocalists, belting out melodic hooks and hip-hop chants which are sometimes enhanced with robotic and gritty filters.
