Owned and managed by Anthony Traynor (PropaTingz/BreakBeatBuddha) and Nick Middleton (The Outlier/The Funk Hunters), True Movement began as an independent record label focused on forward-thinking bass music. It has since grown to include both an Artist Management and Agency division.

As a label, True Movement’s heavy hitting catalog includes releases from hi-profile artists around the world, representing cutting edge bass music of multiple genres. It’s first release in 2007, the BreakBeatBuddha’s debut album, Mind Bombin, helped forge the now lauded California Glitch Hop scene. Today, True Movement continues to push boundaries, seeking out new sounds and artists that we feel are at the forefront of progressive electronic music.

In addition to the Label, we also handle Artist Management duties including bookings, online promotion, public relations, etc., for a number of successful DJs and Producers, as well as run an Agency division that works to develop tours for our artists by connecting with local promoters and events organizations.
