Es ist ein doppelklavierspiel. Das gesamte gebäude dient als ausgangspunkt für die erzählerischen geräusche.Von zwei klavier, die die verschiedenen
elemente des sich verändernden lichts erforschen. Der serie von "nahtlosem licht" und "splitter" wurde die sonate komponiert. Lauter sechzig-noten und klangfarben, die
an die launen des lichts haften; Und der hintergrund des pianos und des Geräusch.

The piece is inspired by the ancient Chinese poem “On Phoenix Terrace in Jinling” written by Li Bai in Tang Dynasty. The poem depicts the scene viewed by the poet on the terrace, lamenting phoenix has gone while yet still rolling on rivers. All the various palaces as well as natures in-cluding mountains, stream and sun seem to be blurred and unobservable. The poet feels sorrow as he cannot see the imperial court.  



On Phoenix Terrace 登鳳凰台 (2011) for dizi and piano (excerpt)

The title is drawn from a poem Wind and Rain written by Li Shangyin in late Tang Dynasty.   
There are three sections in the piece and each one corresponds to the meaning of dif-ferent lines in the poem. The first and last section describe wind and rain shake yellow leaves from the wood, blue mansions overflow with fluting and twanging sound as well as how much wine the poet would drink to appease his heart. The middle section depicts someone wander lonely, old friends have long been drifted apart as well as the heartless social life and the section shows substantial contrasts in terms of musical gesture and density
