A Peek at Xixistix & muterial & Still Breathing Fire Wiled Water

Hello! I make entire EPs, with complete strangers, on occasion. I have rules for this operation. Here they are. 

We make 5 tracks, with a total run time of approximately half an hour. When it is finished, I will release the record on Bandcamp, for free, with no option to pay more.  I will also make them downloadable here. Participants are encouraged to do the same. You read correctly... no money for anyone... If for some reason we manage to encode the secret to immortality, or the true path to God, in an audio waveform... it is still FREE to all. I'll be asking collaborators for a square piece of art that they do not fear me mangling for the cover. These EPs have a design ethic consistent with all of my personal stuff, and will stay that way... with the initial input from the collaborators.

So far, I have mixed all the tracks, and mastered all of the EPs myself. This isn't a rule set in stone, though. It is just the way that it has worked so far. In fact, the plan with, Belial, is to trade starting and finishing , back and forth until the record is done. Perhaps we will arm wrestle for who masters it, when the 5 tracks are done. Anyway, the point is I will figure out how things work for each EP, with the collaborators, as we go.

Interested? Tell me. However, if you would want our record to sound like the music at an EDM festival... then you are expressing interest in working with the wrong person. You should only be interested, if you want to make music unlike the music you make on your own, and for the natural sharing of appreciators, that would occur when the music is shared. These are the reasons that I do it.

Still Breathing Fire: Emergent  Beauty

The Paintings Come Alive is a group project spearheaded by Rumourtone artist Ray Emitting Diodes and inspired by Bob Ross' Joy of Painting. The sound of paint brushes on canvas have been known to give people a feeling of low-grade euphoria, known as Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response (ASMR) which is the theme of this album. Royalty free paint brush and canvas sounds were used in these tracks all for the pleasure of our listeners. Enjoy!
