Here at the Mangled Music Collective, we want to keep everyone in the loop about new up and coming music we feel needs to be shared with the world, as well as highlighting some of the works from our members.  


The Mangled Music Collective is a group of diverse, international, independent electronic musicians who's common denominator is their love of producing music.  We span many musical styles and genres, and cannot be pigeonholed easily.  We are a DIY collective expressing ourselves through music.  Each artist in MMC brings something special and unique to the group.

Recorded music today seems to have been devalued monetarily, despite the fact that it's being listened to more than ever before. This is making it harder for musicians like us to make a living doing what we love.  As independent musicians without huge marketing budgets and teams of people handling everything for us, we believe we should all be more cooperative in spreading awareness to people who may not know what they're missing by only listening to whatever is at the top of the popular charts at the moment. There's a lot of unheard talent out there!

Music isn't dead, it's on life support. Join us in our mission to save it!

Comment Bot 7000 is an algorithm designed to make the talent of humans known to one another and themselves. While, as yet, unable to feel pride of its own, Comment Bot is aware that its operational parameters serve to elevate this emotion in the group of humans known as: artists. Comment Bot chooses this as its Primary Directive.

I started this project to create ambient works isolated from the mostly, rhythm oriented tracks of my other instrumental project. Xixistix could not do without the space, but here, we can have it in spades with a good deal less slap. If that is your taste or mood... well here you go.

I pronounce it, Zixy-Sticks. It came from a nonsensical play on the name of the truly vile candy-dust-in-a-cardboard-tube, Pixy Sticks. Then again, there is meaning everywhere.

Born in Mexico City in 1955, started playing at an early age. In Mexico, I played with many bands like "Batallón de San Patricio", "Atrás del Cosmos", "Queso Sagrado", "Syntoma", " Broken Heart", "Decibel", "Bardo Thodol", and "Kathmandu Ensemble". In New York City I played with Bands like "Volti", "King"s East", "In The Service Of", "Fist of Facts", "Desire", "Dense Undergrowth"," "Matahari", "Like Wow", "Devil's Breakfast", "Muse Mob", "Atlantis 3000", "Monster", "Zenith", "Andromeda Crash" "Night Shade", I also collaborated with Hector Zazou, Harold Budd, Elliott Levin, Dennis Charles, and many others. For many years I also wrote Jingles for a lot of products like Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Mc Donalds, Toyota, Kodak, Payless Shoes, Rothman's, Salsa Tabasco, JC Penny, Liberty Science Center, American Heart Association, MCI, Reebok, AT&T, Fanta, Play Movil, etc, I also made music for Viacom writing music for cartoon networks, Bravo TV, Chanel 1, and MTV. Also wrote music for Bill Moyers (PBS)and also for Fax TV in Germany.
